oak mar staff name Jim racial disseminate and yelled at me for no reason.
i and my husband went there today. we are asian.
we are play 1 st tee. right after we hit ball and we walk toward green to make 2 nd shot...
But, immediately, white man name Jim/ drove with cart come to us and start yelled at us
"stop, stop and get out " you need to play 4 some today, it is busy day.
he did not explained no one explained when we at 1 st tee.
it was horrible experienced today. we played 9 hole and 18 hole over 50 times in virginia area years. there s no need to yelled and screamed because we played only 2 instead 4 some.

dear. poor oak marr management.
as a fairfax county residence. please educate and properly train your employees.
NEVER AGAIN this course and we assumed if we are white people he never treated us like today.
he kicked out us at 1 st tee...then we left, while we drove back home, my wife and I cried without
saying a word. we immigrant 30 years ago from korea. we knew this is white county,
we paid tee, we love golf, please stop yell and threating because we not white to play golf.
Good value. Tee boxes are in rough shape but greens are in very good shape.

Well maintained, friendly staff. But, do not forget the big spray!
Pushing players for no reason
We were a twosome and we arrived Early. We could’ve gone off alone as a twosome except they had us wait for the fourth player that was late. That was fine with us, but the thing that didn’t make sense was the Marshall was pushing us to play faster With no one behind us. I felt rushed all the way through the course and consequently didn’t play as well or enjoy it as much. I hope next time they will consider the situation before rushing people when it’s not necessary
Won’t be coming back
Marshal was an absolute tool. Cancelled our tee time because we weren’t there 20 minutes before. We were there 10 minutes before and there was a crazy line at tee box. Course was decent. Tee boxes rough. Greens great. I’d rather pay an extra 30 and play at a decent course with cool staff.
Better than expected
This was my first time playing the Oak Marr par 3 course and I was definitely impressed! The course was in great shape, especially the greens although they were super slow which is probably by design. The tee boxes sucked which was my only issue. But the layout was nice, pace of play was fine even with most being beginner level players.
I enjoyed my practice round which is all I expected from a par 3 course.
Great Course
One of, if not my favorite par 9’s in the area. Best value you’ll get for price as well. Great mix of distances and the water on holes 3 & 8 looks awesome. I play here at least once a week and will continue to do so.
