Located in Allyn just 45 minutes west of Tacoma, LakeLand Village surrounds Anderson Lake with Mt. Rainier providing a backdrop to the south. The community includes three beaches and a 27-hole golf course. The course is divided into three nines known as Generation I, II, and III, which are played in different 18-hole combinations. Gen I and III combines the oldest and newest nines. The former is shorter and tighter, while the longer back nine has more undulation on the greens and strategically placed bunkers. There are several challenging holes that feature narrow fairways framed by out-of-bounds, and water hazards come into play as well. The golf course is nicely balanced with more player-friendly features, making it a good option for players of all skill levels.

Tee-time event blunder

Too good to be true scenario. Somehow was able to book a Hotdeal a week out to play this course late afternoon 5pmish. When arrived at course some full day Alpine cross country event was taking place. Club ask how I was even able to book course since they claimed to have blocked out day. I drove almost 2hrs to play just to be forced to play different 9 I did not intend to play. Who’s fault would this be mine? thanks for the experience though I guess.

Lakeland Village

Played generation 1, nine holes. This is a fun, shorter, tighter nine holes in great condition. It provides lots of opportunities but also penal if you are a bit wild, especially off the tee. Have played all three nines and highly recommend this golf course.

Still soggy

Love the course layout. The greens are challenging. The area is beautiful. The clubhouse staff is very nice. The course was still a bit soggy, no surprise being mid spring. We got the tail end of the winter rate s and a HOT DEAL, but I will be back in the summer.

Staff was SO helpful

I made an in entering my tee time into my calendar and arrived an hour late for my tee time! I was so embarrassed. However, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond in getting us out to play. This was first playing at this course. I am very much looking forward to returning and playing it again.

The staff truly made the difference in having a great round of golf. I believe the person who helped me was Karen. Thanks for your efforts.

Super wet

Fairways were as wet as I’ve ever seen them. Carts on cart path only. That means if you’re drive isn’t near the cart path you’re going to have to walk all the way to your ball. Fortunately there wasn’t a lot of pressure behind us. People still drove in the fairway anyway. Hope they’re not watering the course.

Great when dry.

27 in the cold

Lakeland Village is always a pleasure , they do need to rake their bunkers each Saturday morning, otherwise the course is in good condition , punched & sanded greens ,otherwise in good condition.
