Rough grass
Fast & fun round. Great people in the pro shop. Would prefer electric carts, but the old gas ones got us around fine. The fairway grass must not be cut too often, as there were lots of clumps of clippings, & the greens were longer than average.
Fun course & good value overall.
Not Good Condition or Value
They currently do not have a course manager. Course floods all the time and in terrible condition, the fairways are like rough.
Riverview
I have to see the course was very challenging. It always gave you a way out other than hitting the long ball, but no one wants the way out. I usually don't lose any balls. At other courses. But it seems I lost quite a few on this day. I have to bow down.It was a better course than I was a golfer
Not as good as before
The course layout is good. The T boxes were in bad shape. The fairways were in need of some water. I have played here before and the course was not as good as before. Clubhouse was good.
should've walked
Course in good shape. A bit crowded in places. Forgot the course sits beside an airport . Small planes flew overhead most of the day. Biggest disappointments- $8 small bucket of beat up, scarred ,public course rejects and matching golf carts . Changed the first cart before Teeing off, pushed the second the last 50 yards at the turn, finished with number 3 that never achieved full speed .Too bad they are headed in the wrong direction .
Challenging course
Narrow fairways and several water obstacles. Higher green fees this year make it less desirable.
Awesome staff
We had arrived early (90 min) the gentleman in the pro shop said if we were ready to go we could go now. Very rare that that happens. Great course, Arizona roll on the fairways. I will definitely be going back.
😃😎
Lots of fun. First time playing this course . Greens rolled mostly straight and fast. I live in Portland. The drive was 1.5 hours. For me the experience was worth the drive.
Really windy day, sadistic pin placements
Went down to play in a tournament down there. Had a terrible round score wise. The winds on 5 or 6 holes was stupid strong which led to some awful golf. Played with the GM. The greens are some of the best I have ever played on. Firm fast and rolled true even after being flooded twice. Speaking of the floods. The fairways in parts where mud and the carts were allowed on the fairways which tore them apart and made some shots harder then they needed to be even with a lift, clean and place rule in play. Keep the carts on the paths please. Restaurant was closed so keeping the energy up on a bag of chips and a small bag of Jerky was hard. Austin the pro is a great communicator and ran a great event. Look forward to returning on the 20th. *** Cart paths only please unless medically necessary.***
Great walking coursr
Beautiful flat course, owner love his trees, well maintained, fairways thru geens.
nice course
Bring a few extra balls to play this course. Some water hazards involved.
The course was a bit muddy, but giving the amount of rain we have had this year, not too bad.
Rough rough rough
Cut the rough, more time looking for balls than golfing
Fun at Riverside
We played this course on a hot day, but really enjoyed it. It is a fair course and one that is nice for both beginners and advanced players. The staff in the pro shop did a great job. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant afterwards. It is nice and the food was great.
Nice Course
Nice fairways, fast smooth greens. A placement course. Challenging but fun. Nice clubhouse. Friendly and helpful staff. Glad I played here

Not What It Used To Be
Great course that I have enjoyed playing for a few years now. Use to be well worth the drive from the Tacoma area a couple times or more a summer to play some of the "best" greens in the area. Consistently 10-12 (faster for Lewis County AM.) on the Stimp. Unfortunately this year they are back to a normal 8, still a nice course and a good environment but not what it use to be at all#disappointing...
