Tahoma Valley Golf & Country Club
About
Located just 45 minutes southwest of Tacoma, Tahoma Valley Golf Course has garnered a reputation for being the driest course in the Puget Sound. The course boasts well manicured greens that putt fast and true. The greens showcase the best of the Northwest's undulating, bump-and-run golf. Its location provides every hole with a stunning view of Mount Rainier. Just shy of 6,000 yards from the back tees, it's not an especially long layout but it is narrow enough to present a challenge. The wide fairways are forgiving, making it player friendly enough for beginners, and there are enough challenges to please high handicappers as well. With an abundance of mature trees throughout, Tahoma Valley Golf Course demands accuracy. The par 3s are particularly memorable for both their views and level of difficulty.

ClubhouseReviews
The course is solid despite the wet winter conditions.
They have cleared away brush making play easier and opening up sight lines.
No golf carts or push carts
Showed up to play at 10 am on a Saturday and the clubhouse said they didn’t have golf carts available and they had just rented their last push cart. I don’t know what happened that day but all the carts were locked up. When I asked for a refund cause I booked it for 4 people he said that he couldn’t give me a refund cause I already paid Golf Now.
Worth the “drive”
The course is off the beaten path but worth the drive. I’ve been told the course is under new management and they are busy making the playing conditions better every time I’m there. The course has a nice layout and the out of bounds areas are minimal. The staff and the restaurant are great!!!
Good value for the price
The coursr was in decent condition except the greens . The greens were all in tournament condition a very fun course layout wide open if you miss hit & very walkable would definitely play again
Pick the right cart
Nice course but the carts are in need of repair. After seven hole we had to limp back to the club house to get a new cart. The replacement had noice issues had left us feeling like we would break down as well.
