About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

Great day on the course, a personal best and finally kept the same ball for complete round.Ball washers, bins and foot brushes on each hole even saw the beverage cart several times!
Lacks maintenance
We plan Riverbend quite frequently, because it is convenient and relatively easy to get a tee time. The layout of the course is decent and pretty typical for a city municipal course. I enjoy the course for the most part, but the lack of maintenance is extremely frustrating. The greens are typically bumpy as they don't roll them frequently, and the sand traps are never raked. It had rained the day before our Saturday game and all the sand traps were wet and hard. You would think on a weekend morning they would send some one out first thing to rake all the traps. It really makes it difficult to play your best when the traps are hard packed mud and you can't hit a straight put on the greens. With a little more maintenance this could be way more fun to play.

Great day
Weather was supposed to iffy but it turned out nice. Pace of play was decent, we kept up with the group ahead of us and the group behind us did not have to wait much. Bunkers need to be raked by the staff more often, but the greens were in good shape

Spring at Riverbend
Nice day with a few cool breezes. Course is dry so fairways and some greens are rather hard so watch your approaches!

13 Mile to golf course it's very convenient,good parking lot,only wish have driving range

Nice course.
Good conditions for the time of year. Greens and fairways were well kept for majority of holes. Biggest downside was pace of play. Spent roughly 3 hours playing the front nine.

Friday evening golf
Course was busy Friday evening after work. Started at 6:15 and got 9 hole in before dark. Pace was good, didn’t wait too long on tee boxes. Course was in great shape compared to 4 weeks ago. Its a solid muni course.

Great Couse
The rain has beat up the greens pretty bad on 4 or 5 of the holes...shouldn’t improve over the summer!

Course recovering from the winter nicely
The course over all in good condition, especially this time of year. The greens were good speed, but many had significant damage and all were bumpy in places. Bunkers were raked and carts were 90 degree rule - nice change from path only. Fairways in good condition, and not too much recycled goose food on the fairways [if you know what I mean].

Wet but playable
Winter condition but playable. Greens are wet and bumpy.. Great walking course.

Good experience overall
Had a early-ish tee time, but pace of play was slow. Some tee boxes and greens were muddy/devoid of grass, with the fairways and bunkers in pretty good shape. Enjoyed the layout and variety, will definitely return.
