About
The Riverbend Golf Complex sits along the Green River in Kent Valley, Wash. Owned and operated by the City of Kent, the complex offers a championship, 18-hole course and a mini-golf course. The 18-hole course is one of the busiest in the state with more than 65,000 rounds played on it annually. The golf course sprawls across a relatively flat landscape, making it easily walkable. Though it may not be hilly, that doesn't mean it's trouble free. There are more than 50 bunkers strategically placed throughout and three lakes come into play as well. The layout is player friendly, with enough variety to appeal to players of all skill levels.

Okay course for the price
Wanted to play 18 only got in 9. Ended up playing solo and got stuck behind a group of 4 that was slow paced. Joined the group of 3 behind me for the 8th and 9th hole. Then it started raining so had to cut my game short. Overall the course is decent. A-lot of noise from the surrounding city streets, but this course is mildly challenging.

Greens are soft and slowly, fairways are in good condition. It’s a little bit crowded today and I spent 5hours to finish 18 holes. In general, it’s money worth course.

Great round at Riverbend
I was looking for an early morning round to kick off my weekend and found a 6:36am tee time at Riverbend at a great price. I checked in just before 6:30 and the pro shop told me that I had the option to wait for the other golfers to show or go off if I was ready, so I teed it up and headed out. As the first one out I got to watch the course crew do their work, but they didn’t slow me down as I finished in 2 hours and 20 minutes (walking). The greens were in great condition as were the fairways even with all of the rain that we have had in the area. A great way to kick off my weekend!

Easter
We were the second group off. The first was a threesome and we had four. Never saw the group in front of us. The greens were still bumpy and sandy from a couple of weeks ago aerification.

Course. Is not what it used to be.
The course is not in very good condition at this time. The restaurant was closed. The rates are too high for this course at this time. They also did not charge the golf now rate until I had to correct them.

Early March Round
Riverbend is a good public course and route where you can be assured the pace will move along and the greens will be consistent. This weeks round was no different. Despite being our wet time of year. The course was very playable. A few bunkers had standing water but for the most port they drained well. Greens were spongy to receiver irons, but still rolled well.
Only complaint was no food/drink/window etc r restaurant. Just. A sign in the door - Closed. Would have loved to have a beer at the turn on the fist sunny day in a while.

Good course.
Course was in good condition for winter. Some wet spots but most of the course was good. Restaurant and lounge is closed and limited snacks in pro shop.
