Mint Valley Golf
Nice course. Fair layout, excellent condition. Played a round in about 4 hours and 15 minutes.
Add on fees are to much
A one time fee should be charge per foursome not 4 individual fees if booking for more than one player.
No gimmicks....
Straight forward course ,fair yet challenging ! Not a lot of bunkers but water must be avoided to put together a good round! Water comes into play on 9 of the holes. They tell me that back in the day it was an area where there was mint farming . Excellent food in the clubhouse ! Mint valley burger! Great staff !
Great day to be out there playing.
The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. Play was on time even with a large group of high school players on the course. The course is drying out quickly after all the rain we've had and is in much better shape than it was two weeks ago.
Mint Valley
We finally had a dry day & the weather was perfect for a nice round. The greens were in good shape, but the course was too wet still. Lots of ruts where the mowers had been, even in the fairways. Give it another couple of weeks of dry weather and it will be a good course again.
To wet
The course in itself shouldn't have been play on....way to wet and the ground was like walking on a sponge. Had to keep the ball low as elevated shots would be lost in the muddy wet grass (plugged)....not a good course to play when its rained forever.
Mint Valley Course
The course was pretty much deserted on a weekend which is rare but it was mostly due to the weather. Pretty wet conditions but the fairways held up for the most part so it wasn't to bad. Greens were fast but fair and the course was in overall great shape considering the amount of rain we have had.
Always a good time
Course was in great shape. It's really coming around out of this winter's precipitation totals. Greens are great as always.
The monsoons took a break.
Course still quite spongy from non stop rain. Wettest February and March on record. Finally a break in weather. Carts on path only. Lots of tall rough. Lost balls in the fairway. Plugged balls. Greens quite good. Had the course to ourselves.
Good condition
Had a very good time. Course was in good condition. Definitely will play there again.
Great cause, easy to walk
Play here about once a month. Great course for the money. Course is in excellent condition, except the traps need a little more sand, with plenty of challenges. Greens in good shape and run true. Easy course to walk.
A solid value
Saw a golf now hot deal for a $10 round on a sunny weekend afternoon at Mint Valley. This is my second time on the course and it did. It disappoint. The course was in excellent condition, and surprisingly empty for such a sunny day (thank you Seahawks). The pace was slow for the first few holes but once the groups ahead paced amen corner 4,5,6 things picked up and I finished in 3:45.
The course is well designed and requires a variety of shots and includes several water holes.
The greens were a little slow, but rolled true.
All in all for $10 plus fees, I have to rate Mint the best deal in golf.
Hidden Nugget in the Valley
Well manicured course with large undulating greens. Fairways can be a narrow target when the tees are back mixed with right and left doglegs...
