Quiet and good weather every time we go there
The course is in great shape. The weather holds out every time we go there even if its pouring 10 minutes away.
Usually reasonably quiet so rounds are fairly quick. Practice facility is top notch also!
Very nice course
Course in great condition. It is a little long for me, but we had a great time. No negatives
this course has a great signature hole-#18
It is well maintained and some holes are rather challenging. Fertiliser smell coming from a nearby plant may turn some golfers off.
Homestead is lovely
Greens in great shape. Some challenging holes to play. Well worth it!
the course is in great condition.
The signature hole no 18 is very interesting. I like the course for its serenity and the pace of play. No waiting.
Victoria Day Golf
Staying away from home and playing my favorite course in Bellingham area was great.
Green was a bit slow maybe due to weather condition, but overall the course was in good shape.
Any playing day for me is Victorious Day.
Best kept secret
We always enjoy this course because it is excellent value for the money spent. Challenging, especially the 18th hole and kept in great shape. To top it off, the food and facility is fabulous.
overpriced
The rack rate for this course is way out of line with the quality, at least this first full week of May. Pro shop was out of collectable logo balls for several months, showing their overall concern for amenities. Very few yardage markers and the course map on the scorecard was of little help. Stayed in my timeshare next to the course which was nice. We got on for your good deal of $25 with cart which should be the rack rate. Very walkable course, lots of water and doesn't seem to drain well. so beware of playing there after a god rain.Had a good junior?school program.
This course is level terrain
After a week of heavey rains the course had soft fairways in many places, but the greens were in good shape. The rough grass was longer than usual, risk / reward play.
Homestead
I had a really good time golfing here. The greens were quick and in good shape. The staff were friendly and courteous. I cant wait to get back.
Good facilities
The course is still winter conditions, very wet fairways.
Exceptional Value!
Great course, somewhat challenging. Highly recommended - especially the Golf Now reservations.
With cart & practice balls- can't beat it!
Happy to recommend and invite friends to play.
I'll be back!!
Wet and muddy
Wettest course in Whatcom County. Doesn't drain at all. Every bunker was full of water. Every fairway wasn't just wet, but muddy. Impossible to drive carts on anything but the cart path.
Course is beautiful otherwise and would love to play it in early August when it has a chance of being dry.
Great conditions for this time of year...Well maintained!!!
Challenging course yet plenty of opportunities to go after some holes…course is in excellent shape for this time of year!!!!
Very challenging and intimidating. Must hit it straight.
Very challenging and intimidating but fun. Familiarity with course a must since there are hidden hazards, especially the front nine. If you hit it straight, you should be okay.
Fun course to play
Greens had been punched a couple of weeks ago but with the recent sun and dry conditions the course was playing very nicely.
Really enjoyed our day golfing, we ate at Bistro 9 afterwards and wouldn't hesitate recommending both the course and the meal.
What a beautiful couse, well maintained and the view was incredible of Mt. Baker (10,000) ft. in the background
This course is set amongst some to the Pacific Northwest most beautiful farmland, and the 10,000 ft. Mt. Baker in your view on the back 9. This is a very challenging course with doglegs and water, so beware of the first round or two. For any of the Canadian folk this is a must do course to add to your list.
Excellent!
This my first time to play this Homestead C&C, This is a very very good golf couse and big challenge for me! Fairway is very well, Green is fast! I'll play it again and again!
Excellent Golf Shop staff. Very attentive and friendly.
Course in great shape with very nice fairways. Greens recently sanded, but getting into shape. A couple may need to be rolled to smooth out holes.
Fairways, greens were great but sand was inconsistent and long waits.
There was no marshal and somehow had to wait 5-10mins each hole as we had a power cart but people in front walked. It's a course that kind of needs a power cart because there was quite a few holes that you had to walk 2-300 yds to get to it! Some people ended up skipping holes to play ahead of the slow play. Great fairways, greens were aerated not too long ago but was playing well, bunkers were inconsistent, some were fluffy but other ones would be like wet cement, to be fair, it did rain lots the previous weeks. One thing I really would like is distance stakes for 100 and 150 yd markers. they had ground markers that weren't colored so was hard to see them. There were many holes where I didn't know how far I was to the pin. I would have to drive around to find the ground markers to confirm distance to pin. Quite challenging course as there was some high bunker walls and lots of water everywhere. I had a great time, a fun challenging course!
