the course was in very good shape
only because we had rain it was cart path only. other than that the course was in great shape and everyone respected the rules of cart path. ease of signing in was great. no hassles. will use golf now.com to book a tee time more often. like the fact that there is a ball washer and bench at each tee box. And thanks for the birthday code!

Rainy day
I picked an awful day to tryout homestead. Lots of rain. Course seems really long and nice. Don't expect to score on many holes your first time there. Hidden greens from many tee boxes
This course was in mint condition. Greens ran true. Bunkers were deep and challenging. Lots of water.
Great walking course with lots of challenges including water, bunkers, sloped fairways. A great place to play
Pleasantly surprised
I went because of the great price, despite unfavorable memories of the course from a few years ago. I usually avoid resort style courses with houses all around. I was pleasantly surprised, though, at the good shape of the course. There is a lot of water and some huge traps (the sand isn't very good), but playing with someone who had course knowledge, and using my gps for layups and for club selection, etc., made the course playable and fair. The greens had some problems (fungus?) but held and rolled true at medium speed. There were some odd pin placements, tucked in very small areas of otherwise large greens. The fairways were plush except for a few bare spots. Luckily I played well and avoided most of the trouble that seems to lurk everywhere.
Like Palmsprings, but not as hot.
Reminds me of Palmsprings without the heat. Very well maintained course. Great value, will definatley play again.
Only one thing.... You need to get sandwiches at the concession.
lots of water
needs screens along driving range- challenging but fair
Awesome, Good deal!!!!
one word to described my experience. "Awesome"!
Good deal!
I like this course.
Well maintained course but fairways are too soft.
I recommend this course.
Excellent course, well maintained and great lounge to kick your feet back after the round.
Can't wait to play hear again. Great course and staff.
Love the course, but the staff could use some customer service trng
I absolutely love this course and willingly drive over an hour to play. its surroundings, challenging layout, awesome greens~
I don't always get the "meanies" but every now and then they show up. Sadly, my experience of late was to deal with someone who must have had a bad day.
Just a little customer service goes a long way!
The fairways are pretty much wide open. I would recommend this course to all skill levels
I did not like a par 3 as the second hole off a nice long first hole. Traffic seems to bunch up at this point.
great course
Need to play more then once or pay more attention to GPS as lots of water hiding over mounds
Risk/reward course
Homestead is by far, one of my favorite courses to play this side of the mountains. The risk/reward factor is high in that there's lots of trouble all around, but if you have decent, well hit shots, the reward side pays off. For ladies, its one of the highest (if not the highest) rating/slope in the state of Washington. So bring lots of patience, sunscreen and MANY extra balls! We played it yesterday (7/8/13) and it was in the best shape we've ever seen it. So worth the trip and extra distance to play this beautiful course. Oh..did I mention the beautiful clubhouse, to enjoy a drink afterwards while adding up your scores? Definitely a MUST PLAY!!
Great Day
Not only did I get a HOT DEAL on this round, I was able to play a REPLAY round of $1/hole.
Good day.
Course in great shape!
The course was in great shape. The sand was a little inconstent, but other than that the course condition was pristine!
Great course, nice staffs, will visit again.
Nice well manicured golf course, all staffs were very friendly, good value, wish I live closer!!
This course has great features
the putting greens were slow, it may be a few rainy days last week. But overall are great.
Good bang for the buck!
Good greens year round..and the staff treats you right.
Nice course, little wet still
I haven't played this course in a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Still played a bit wet but it has rained quite a bit the last week or so. Back 9 is little more wide open than the front, but I will be back to play again
Nice Course
This course and clubhouse has been under construction for awhile now, but it looks like they are about done. The course is in pretty good shape from the last time I played it. The new owners have made some much needed improvements to the maintenance of the course. The 18th is a reachable par 5 with an island green, which is a nice way to finish up the day. If you're in the area I would play it.
