C’mon Out, the Course is Great
The Nile is not long, but it is challenging. Tight tee shots and some elevation changes mean you have to play smart or you’ll be in trouble. The greens are in great condition and the pace of play was pretty quick.
Great value and better shape than many city courses
Course has a good mixture or hard and easy holes. Something for most everyone. Greens were in good shape. Some of the approaches (like 17!) it needs some serious help. Also, some good size divots on some fairways and large brown spots. Maybe provide sand for players to fill in and adjust watering in some spots? Definitely would give them a solid B and would recommend them overall! Really like the course.
Employee confusion
I came to play golf for two people and arrived before our tee time. It seemed like the staff was confused when asking for my name, and they ended up calling me “Mr. Guest.”
This made me feel like I wasn’t being treated with proper attention—perhaps because I’m Asian and not very fluent in English. It didn’t feel good when they shouted and called me “Mr. Guest” loudly.
That said, I really like this course. It’s beautiful and well-managed.
Nice par 67. No Beer!
Course is a par 67 course, and it was well maintained. Good for working the irons and wedges. If I lived in the are, I would play here often. That being said, No working bar or cart girl?! You guys are Shriners. What's up with that?
Love the course, but open the club house
I got a deal for my wife, daughter, and me, with a cart included. I arrived early and was sent off early. The course is shorter, with no par 5s, but plenty challenging. It is in great condition.
The off-course facilities are lacking. I was surprised to see the clubhouse closed, and there is no driving range for warming up.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great day.
