About
Village Green Golf Course is an executive, 18-hole course located just 40 minutes north of Tacoma, off of Mill Hill Road in Port Orchard. It's known for being one of the best golf values in the area. The course has a classic design that plays tight but isn't overly punishing for the high handicapper. The small, elevated greens and narrow fairways demand accuracy. The course is ideal for beginners, offering a place to get practice with a variety of different shots. For intermediate players and low handicappers, the course is an excellent place for honing your iron play and working on your short game. There is also a practice facility available at Village Green that includes a covered driving range and putting and chipping greens.

DONT TAKE FOR GRANTED
This course will test your mid-short game. Drivers can be too much if you hit long or cant keep it down the fairway. Great course to work on your irons.
Worst course ever!
I have never seen fairways worse than these! In fact, I don't think you can even call them fairways. They are dirt and rocks and patches of dead grass. Seriously, not a live blade of grass on any fairways. Some tee boxes have grass, and every green is in decent shape with about 10 feet of grass around it, but everything else is unplayable.

First time to area greens and tee boxes was great for the time of season

If it wasn't for the golf now hot deal I would have been very disappointed. Nice guy in the proshop.

we love this course. Close to home and always a pleasure to play…and the weather was just right making it a great day to celebrate my birthday:)
A place to play if there is nothing else
I’ve never been to a golf course like this before. The staff was friendly enough, but the fair waves and everything surrounding were not really grass. Lots of hard packed dirt. There were a little baby white flowers everywhere so it was very difficult to see your ball, if it landed in a patch of those which were everywhere..
It was clean and people seem to be having a good time so maybe just a nice little local course. We traveled about 30 minutes to get there because of the reviews and it just wasn’t what we thought.

I love this lil course best quick 18 you can find around
Lots of short an long par 3's a couple of fours mostly all raised greens learned how to play on this course certain areas can be a little rough as far as turf conditions but for around 20 bucks it's an amazing value especially considering there are 9 holes around that cost more and have similar conditions make good shots and you will land in the good grass still just watch out for the patches and the pine needles
Perfect greens
Fun course to play with challenging, small elevated greens that are in very good condition. Some of the fairways are hard and compacted suitable for 7-iron pitch & Run rather than a wedge. Use a white ball on number 10 since it's next to the driving range with yellow balls.
