Fun course to play in a pinch
The golf course is in good shape with all of the we have been getting. Greens are slow and fairways are soft but that is to be expected. We finished our round in four hours so the pace was good. Lots of walkers , but they played fast and it didn’t affect the pace. Just wish the restaraunt was open earlier than 11:00 on weekdays.
Good day
Fairways had some bald spots but still got some good bounce and roll. Green's where bumpy but didn't roll that bad. Their work early gets golfers today, we were a twosome and three groups lettuce playthrough. Not always the case as a lot of people have no golf etiquette. This is always been a good course to practice your irons only one par 5. With the little schmoozing they could make the long part 3 into a par 4 in another home to a par 5.
Still dry
Was quite surprised to only find a bit of standing water on #1. Often mud on the ball but good for this time of the year. There was a 5some 2 groups in front of me so played in a creative order, didn't hurry and finished in 2.5 hours with my best score of the year.
Nice option, but has always been busy.
I've heard it's one of the busiest courses around, and I can attest it probably is. Only played it twice in a year, but was always busy (weekday)....but steady pace. Figure close to 4.5 hours for 18. Nice layout, various holes, not boring back & forth flat golf. Very nice clubhouse. Will play it again.
Just ok
The rough is too long. Balls disappear in it that wouldn't at other courses. Too expensive for what it is. Play Riverbend or West Seattle instead.
Tough little short course
Dont let the short yardage fool you. If you dont hit the ball straight this narrow little well layed out course will beat you up. Had a good time playing here while working in the area. Ill definitely play it again before my time here is done.
Great par 4 course
Great course for all levels of players. Wide fairways. Maintained well. Always meet nice, friendly golfers. Good location. My favorite place to play!
Overbooked Weekend
It took us over 4 hours to complete just 9 holes of golf. It was one of the most trying and fatiguing golf I have every had. Never saw any course Marshals addressing the long wait. Way over booked.
It's always a good time at Forest Link. The pace was a little slow in the front nine but back nine pace was great.
Excellent job
Apparently there was an issue regarding the 2 tee times I made. Excellent job by both the course and GolfNow in getting it resolved.
Great Course for iron work
This is a real fun course, well worth the admission.
As long as you dont book a Tee time on Tuesday's This course has a good pace except Tuesday's. If you forget, and book on a Tuesday after 11:00 am. When you figure it out just go back home or to another course. Some folks dont come here to play golf. The food is above avg. The wait staff are very attentive and nice people.
Frat Time
Slow play, over booked a 5 some in front of us. Witnessed golf carts on tee box and on greens
Short Hame work out
Just a fun small course that is well taken care of!
Great afternoon.
Nice little course. Not long, but finesse needed on several holes. Nice 19th hole. Plenty of parking.
a nice course in a great setting
very enjoyable place to play. not very difficult, but great surrounding with chances to see bald eagles.
course in great shape with very well maintained greens.. would definitely recommend
Feel good course for a great price
I took my dad here for Father's Day where we played 18 with a cart. I've played Foster many times and it's always been what I would consider a "feel good" course based on difficulty. There are many par 4 holes that are drive-able for better golfers. I play from the men's tees at this course to get a bit more practice on my longer drives. As for amenities, the bar cart gal Shelley is always a pleasure and makes sure our drinks are flowing. Bill Baroo's restaurant and bar in the clubhouse is also a fun spot to get a drink and dinner after your round. Overall, I enjoy the bargain and laid back feel of this course but don't plan on finishing in record time, as this is a slow-moving course most days with a lot of beginner and "social" golfers hitting the links.
Golf at it's easiest
Short course in fairly good shape. Check in at the Pro Shop was a breeze.
