nice gem
Great spot if you're looking for a decent track close to Seattle. This course is super short but the conditions, walkability, and pace of play are what attract me to this course over any of the Seattle muni's...especially on the weekends. Great place to work on irons off the tee!
Good round
Frost delay but good staff and food made up for it
Midweek at Foster
Due to recent rain, the fairways were slow.
However, the greens were in "perfect" condition. Few people were playing, so the pace of play was great. The staff (Angie) was friendly and helpful.
A great day AND a great value...I'll be back !!
Nice and Easy!
Duck and cover!!! Very nice course, but tight fairways! Balls come from everywhere! Ok this course is well set up,great for most levels of golfers. I'm sure better golfers get a little irritated with errant balls flying, to me it was adventurous. I missed a couple fairways myself. They are tight! Had a great time, there are a few drivable greens. Speaking of greens, they were in great shape. A little challenging. A nice links course that pretty much has it all.
Great fairways and challenging greens to make things interesting...
A popular golf course and friendly atmosphere makes for an enjoyable round
Nice, well maintained course
Played this course with a buddy on early Thursday morning. Arrived almost half hour early but staff said we could start right away! Course conditions were fair-very clean, but with some spots that were not draining well. Greens were surprisingly fast, well maintained with hardly any blemishes. I knew this place also offered foot golf, but they conceal the holes very well that it doesn't become a distraction. I'd definitely come back, esp. with Those Hot Deals from GolfNow.
Best round of golf to date
It was a great pace as noone was in front of us or behind...so the pace was perfect. I think the Hawks game made alot of golfers stay home.
Fun course
Very much a fun course and relaxing. Especially for seniors.
Friendly place
First time to play at here.
Everyone is friendly.
But one thing I did consider about smells.
I am not sure the smells came from.
May surprised you first time you are play here.
food poisoning?
Had a wonderful round of golf. Easy course to play. Greens were well kept. Sadly I got very sick from the pork sandwich served at the restaurant. Someone should check out conditions in restaurant kitchen. I'd play Foster again, but obviously I would not eat at the restaurant.
Watch what your paying for
I booked the coarse for 32.00 per person and when I got to the coarse there was an additional $14.50 per person cart fee, not sure how they can justify that, probably won't golf there again
Easy play
Fun day course was a little water logged for the dry weather, and lots of areas need repair. Still was a good day for play.
Worst course played ever
We took course from Seattle and on the way back we had one day free. So we thought to have a round in Seattle. Found the course on golfnow, because we did have time to do the research.
Proshop was OK. The rental club is very old and no name, but it is cheap 16 bucks for a 4000 yard course. Play pace was so slow, Full of beginners. No marshal, no starter.
And there is no shower neither. We had to be stinky all the back to Toronto home. Food was OK, but the waitress is not that nice and only want to get more tips - no honest neither.
Course condition is just the worst. Dead patchs on green all the way. fairway is so rough, you don't see difference between rough and fairway.
Maybe I picked the wrong course. However even the cheapest course here in Toronto is way better than this.

Terribleness odor ruins the round
Terrible smell surrounding the course. There is a animal processing plant that emits awful odors and the course doesn't do a thing about it. Very disgusting smell that you cannot escape. I wouldn't go back due to this. Plays slow and the course doesn't enforce speed of play checks. 18 holes takes 5 hours. On the positives the price is reasonable. Grass is ok
Beautiful Course
The course is well-maintained, along with the chipping and putting greens. I like the flow of the course and how the Green River flows through and creates a hazard on several holes. Some holes are straightforward and some are more challenging, producing a good time for golfers of all skill levels.
Very beautiful setting along the Green River
Good value - great course to walk - needs a Marshal to speed along play - some greens had burnt sections - otherwise I'd play this course again while in the Seattle area
Great day for golf..
But horrible pace of play on July 18, 2015. I really enjoy this course on a typical Saturday. Unfortunately, it took almost 4 hours to play 11 holes. We turned around and gave up after completing 11.
Lush and Green in drought conditions
Course was in great condition compared to others in area that I've recently played. Emerald green and greens were lush so we were able to make some birdie putts! Like to play this course at least twice a year to score low, great for mid to high handicappers looking to bring down your index.
Short course and quick play.
The pace of play was great! Our 3 some finished 18 in just over 3 hours, Teed off @ 0600.
The greens were in good shape, really slow to start out, possibly over saturated to deal with our heat lately, but sped up as the temp rose.
Good, short course that will give you some good iron practice.
