Pace of play
Pace of play much better, about 4:05. No particular reason other than fewer people in the groups ahead of us. Nice greens, friendly staff. George the starter helpful.
Painfully slow/inadequate
Even w/an active Marshall, the pace of play was awful. The tee times are scheduled too close together. Also the driving range is limited to irons. Tif you can’t use a driver they should call it an iron range. When I called to check if there was a range they should have told me it as for irons only.
Lewis River Golf
Greens in very good shape. Some tees for women need work. Course is a bit long for old timers. Repeated poor pace of play. Wide open 2nd group in front of us. 4:45 too long, and unfortunately has been standard each time we’ve played. Marshal doing double duty as starter, but need a marshal out on the course.
Nice course but
They make you share a cart and it's path only, I paid for my 18 holes and a cart then they stuck with me someone else to share a cart
Nice course
This course is usually very dry in the summer, but today it was almost perfect. Greens were fast, sand was good, fairways a little dry and rough was tolerable. Staff is always excellent.
Hidden gem
Great course… neat layout with some tough holes… greens were in great shape… lots of trees but not overwhelming… staff super friendly… for the money, well worth the drive… and I’m from Cali!!!😂😂
Greens way too sandy
We were first off and the greens weren't taken care of until after we were done
Couldn't get much better
The weather was dang near perfect, the course was in very good condition except for one temporary tee, and our foursome finished in 4 hours, 25 minutes.
If only I hadn't missed those two birdie putts...

Beautiful from the get go. Great landscaping and always in good condition. Nice work grounds crew! Front desk is friendly as well.
Get it while it’s good
The course is one of the most picturesque around and now they have upped their games and have the greens and fairways in great condition.
