Reviews
getting late in the year so there were issues with leaves blowing and rough maybe a bit high in places but that said to even be able to golf in november is a true pleasure and any small inconvenence like leaves can surely be overlooked. greens all and all were in great shape for this late in year. a real compliment to the greenskeeper and staff.
course in great shape for the time of year, only complaint would be the leaves on ground, but I know it is near impossible to keep them cleaned off, especially when the wind starts to blow. otherwise in great shape.
greens in great shape with exception of the folks who don't know/care enough to fix their divots, you can't blame the course for that though. otherwise bit slow but it is to be expected on a nice weekend. everyone I talked to in clubhouse or on course were extremely nice and helpful. one of the best public courses in the area, if it wasn't for the 45 minute drive I would play more often.
Always a good time
My rating may be bias because when I was a youngster growing up this was my home course. Now when I come back for a visit to my hometown area I will always play here. Over the years the Riverside Staff and grounds crew have made great strides in improving the course and the facilizes . If you want to play a fair, in good shape and bang for the buck course I highly recommend playing Riverside GC.
Such a great place to play golf...
We enjoy playing at Riverside, great staff and great course...
First time playing Riverside
Loved the course. Played along with my son and daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. Pace of play was a bit slow as there was a tournament playing at the same time we were there. However, it did not significantly detract from our play.
I certainly recommend this course for any level player. It is mainly flat but has quite a bit of water that comes into play and some really interesting par 3 holes.
We live almost 2 hours from the course, otherwise I would try to play there frequently. I’m 74 years old and had no trouble getting around the course. By the way, the River view from the back deck of the clubhouse is awesome.
