Riverside Golf Course

Play this course regularly although we had a ton of rain last night so was very soggy this morning

A all around nice course. Well maintained, very nice tees and greens. Player friendly yet challenging, a good mix of holes force a variety of shots to be made. You won't be disappointed.

Tee Boxes average shape. Fairways are still coming back from winter, Actually played better out of the first cut. Greens were in great shape.

I just completed a very complimentary review for Riverside and inadvertently called it Lakeside!!! This was absolutely just a stupid mistake because o was so focused on giving them a great review!

I do hope that the fine folks at RIVERSIDE can forgive my blonde moment.....

I love this course! Lakeside is the perfect course for golfers of all skill levels. It offers a few tricky holes with water hazards and dog legs, but has an equal amount of par 3’s that help keep your confidence up if you’re not a star player! Even though it does have a few small hills and valleys, it’s quite user friendly of you have any physical challenges.....simply meaning that there’s not a bunch of steep climbs or greens that are hard to access if your ball has gone astray. It is a nice layout, with lots of variety, a mix of pars that keep you on your toes!

The condition of the greens is excellent, with negligible blemishes, and it seems most golfers fix their divots as they should. The fairways are well kept and even the “roughs” are not so bad that you lose your ball very often! If you are a golf “snob”, I suppose Lakeside wouldn’t measure up, but I think it’s perfect for the everyday golfer, and those who desire a well maintained course!

Course play was great, even though there was a tournament in play that day. We never waited more than 2-3 minutes to proceed.

My only recommendation for Lakeside would be to replace all of the wooden footbridges, as they are pretty aged, and could become unstable at any time. I would also like to see the beautiful hole markers washed and kept clean.....they are so nice and should be attended to! (Just my opinion! )

I would DEFINITELY recommend Lakeside to anyone who loves golfing!

I used to play here all the time years ago and I always love to come back. I wish I could get back more often than I do

A solid straightforward course. Good mixture of holes ranging from “I can par this” to this will be tough to 50/50 chance. Good scores possible here from the white tees.

The wife and I had a day off together and decided to get a round in. Made the trip to Riverside. Had a good day golfing. The course was in decent shape. The greens were in good shape. The clubhouse was nice and the restaurant had really good chicken salad.

Would play again.

Course was good for late April... chicken salad was great! If you go play here make sure to grab a bite to eat... always good food!

The course was in pretty good condition. The area had received a lot of rain and water from the Ohio River but the course was in good condition with all the water that it had gotten. I would recommend this course to other golfers.

The course was completely flooded less than a month ago. You could tell they have been out there working on it since then though. There was no trash or debris anywhere that I could see. The greens look very healthy and I think they will be great this summer. The fairways were brown from the flooding but certain spots were already starting to grow back in. I think sometime in late April the course will be back to 100% normal. Will definitely play it again later in the year.

The course was good my only complaint was that the greens were very slow other than that it was vintage riverside good value nice layout and green pro shop and awesome grill. I would definitely go back and give them another try
