Great condition
The course is in really great condition. Greens run true. Be careful of the Hidden water in front of the greens. Lots of fun to play.
Rough is Rough
Nice course with some challenging holes, greens seemed alright. The rough was out of control and spent lots of time looking for ball and not OB or a bad shot. Made things difficult and added some strokes trying to get out and back in play.
Well kept
Course is always on great shape and clubhouse staff very friendly.
Consistent hospitality
Love coming bere as staff and patrons have a friendly demeanor. For a municipal course the condition is very good, especially the greens and mowing is also good. One of the best deals in the northern Illinois/southern Wisconsin.
Sloooowwwww
We were behind some slow newbies the front 9. No biggie but when we got to the back 9 all of a sudden there was 4 groups teeing off on the 10th before us. I think they were in the clubhouse eating and drinking. After spending 2 1/2 hours playing the front nine we weren’t going to wait 45 minutes to tee off on the 10th. We played the front 9 again.
Best value in town
What a great experience. Challenging but fair, greens are in excellent condition. Rough is a bit thick, but makes you concentrate on your game. Can't wait to make another tee time!
Great Job
Had fun, beautiful day. The course is very challenging, tee box's could use a Lil manicuring but the course is in great shape(early spring). The staff were awesome and the beer was cold and fairly priced. Thumbs up for sure.

Escape to wisconsin
Played on a beautiful April day no one in the course I won so we all went to mouse tavern for _$2.50 pbr tap 1/2 off. What a day! Enjoy life!
Aerated greens need work
Bumpy and dry greens made putting in some holes unpredictable, otherwise enjoyed the course. Staff is always friendly and accommodating.
