Blackhawk Golf Course in Janesville is a nine-hole course that winds along Spring Brook Creek. Mature trees dot the rolling terrain, framing the holes and coming into play beside the fairways. The creek also presents a few hazards but it is not overly threatening. The course has a classic layout that is gentle enough for beginners but still offers enough challenges to make it an enjoyable round for casual golfers though the peaceful scenery makes the course attractive no matter what skill level. It is also great for a quick round when you have a spare moment and its versatility also makes it ideal for tournaments and events. Opened in 1964, the golf course has garnered a following amongst locals. The fun and playable course has become one of the most popular nine-hole golf courses in Wisconsin.

Golf now say it’s cart is included they charged me for the cart use

definitely was charged a cart fee would not pay 30 dollars for this course considering i can go to a private course in better condition for the same price

Hoping the city will replace the bridge that washed away in the storm. This changes the teebox on #1 to reds. Other than that the group that was in front of us were allowed to golf with 5 people.

RELAXING ROUND OF GOLF

My first time here. The layout very nice for a 9 hole course. You have changing elevations which adds to the challenge. I like the fact you can choose different tee boxes to play from. Just a nice course without a lot of noise and distractions around the course.

Great place for single golfer

No, forcing you to pair up. At least not anytime I’ve been there. Great place, staff is great. Forgot my phone on the cart employee came running out to catch me before I left. Have been back three times.
