Blackhawk Golf Course
About
Blackhawk Golf Course in Janesville is a nine-hole course that winds along Spring Brook Creek. Mature trees dot the rolling terrain, framing the holes and coming into play beside the fairways. The creek also presents a few hazards but it is not overly threatening. The course has a classic layout that is gentle enough for beginners but still offers enough challenges to make it an enjoyable round for casual golfers though the peaceful scenery makes the course attractive no matter what skill level. It is also great for a quick round when you have a spare moment and its versatility also makes it ideal for tournaments and events. Opened in 1964, the golf course has garnered a following amongst locals. The fun and playable course has become one of the most popular nine-hole golf courses in Wisconsin.

Nice 9 hole course
This a fun and nice golf course. A lot of different challenges the last 2 holes are tight fairways
RELAXING ROUND OF GOLF
My first time here. The layout very nice for a 9 hole course. You have changing elevations which adds to the challenge. I like the fact you can choose different tee boxes to play from. Just a nice course without a lot of noise and distractions around the course.
Sleepy 9 holes
Fun old style layout course. A few challenging holes but all enjoyable! Beautiful scenery!
Great place for single golfer
No, forcing you to pair up. At least not anytime I’ve been there. Great place, staff is great. Forgot my phone on the cart employee came running out to catch me before I left. Have been back three times.
Blackhawk Golf Course Review
The course is always in very good shape! The staff is AWSOME! Friendly and helpful to everyone who walks through their door! An extremely nice course for a quick nine! My friends and I talk about it every time we play there...It is a GREAT VALUE and we Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good time!
Cantankerous old men blocking course
2:45 to play nine holes, played first six in an hour and a half then ran into these guys. I won’t be back , to ease the overcrowding situation.
Great place to play
Emma was very nice to deal with while waiting for the other in our group to show up during the rainstorm
Their price has more than doubled in less than a week’s time!!
Just two weeks ago, they were offering Hot Deals for $15. Now their “deal” is $40. Not sure what is going on with this. Riverside is an 18 hole course, and their deal is the exact same as Blackhawk, a 9 hole course. Doesn’t make any sense.
I like this course, but I won’t be playing it any more unless better deals are offered. I just can’t afford it. These rates are simply not in line with what a 9 hole course typically charges.
Great course friendly atmosphere all around as well
Very enjoyable course with challenging pin placements to challenge your puts, and an awesome way to spend any day. And tee boxes and greens are usually always in great shape!
