Lousy Course
My 6th time in a row, I was only allowed to play 9 holes when I had paid for 18 holes. I MUST be dumb to have come back that many times.
Yesterday, when I arrived at the first tee of the day (#10), there were 11 carts waiting (22 people) to tee off. "Apparently" golfers in the morning were not told to tee off on #10 and so there was a car crash of golfers coming off hole #9 and those people attempting to start on #10.
I was then directed to start on hole #1 and then come back and play the back 9 holes afterwards.....HaHa, the joke was on me. As I was finishing #9, I was then told they had closed the back 9 holes for the men's club so I would have to play the front 9 again. THIS WAS THE SIXTH TIME IN A ROW THEY HAD DONE THAT TO ME!
As I went BACK to #1 again, there were 4 carts (8 people) waiting to tee off on a hole with 3 groups already on the hole. I WAS DONE!!!
I went to the clubhouse and asked for my money back for the 6th time in a row. They refused to refund the money and said all the problems were because of Tom Graves, the director of golf.
3 absolutes:
NEVER play golf here.
The "Mens" (HaHa) club and skins game will only play the back 9 holes because it is easier/shorter and so everyone else is forced to leave after 9 holes or get bounced back and forth like a yoyo.
Decent course conditions - HORRIBLE management.

Really helpful staff. Impressive. That said, tee boxes were scruffy. Some holes had silly layouts. (Wrap around, semi circular par 5 for instance). 1 true ocean view hole (thought there were more based on staff saying the back 9 is on the ocean). 3.5hrs total time was great.
Beach best golfing
Dry weather even some sun, pretty course, challenging, especially with the coastal breeze
Breath taking
Friendly staff and great rates. Beautiful course. It was a bit damp, but expected being the first day of Spring on the Oregon Coast. Highly recommend golfing at Salishan.
Nice Track
Little wet but to be expected in November. Play your carry, no roll
This course is in mint shape
The tee boxes fairways and greens are all in excellent shape, I was able to play with a female friend of mine (each of us on a different set of tees) in approx, 3.5 hours. We were at a perfect pace and never rushed, with a twosome far in front of us and a twosome behind us with a perfect flow of golf all day long. If you have not played this course you should. Pro shop staff were great easy going and personable.
High recommend!!
I really loved this golf course. I was very suprised at how wonderful this golf course was. Green was fast and the fairway was in great condition during the raining season. Staff were very friendly and the free coffee was awsome! I definitely high recommend it!!
Challenging and pleasant to play
Weather good, no wind and played in barely under 4 hours.
1st time playing golf course
Mid morning tee time, weather was clear with blue skies,
Course was wet from earlier morning conditions with the 9am tee time. Rnjoyed playing and fairways were very forgiving and wide enough to keep shots in play, if not plenty of hazards of heavy growth of forest and brush,
Nice variety of different type holes requiring different shot selections.
Salishan
$20 a piece to have a cart is a bit steep. If I didn’t get a discounted tee-time it would have been to expensive to play there. Butt… a beautiful setting for a course and in good shape. Perhaps a discount for folks who live in the county.
Fun Course
Had a great round. Course was in good shape. Lots of bunkers, trees and views. Good at the turn was excellent!
