About
This challenging 18-hole, 6,501 yard, par-71 championship layout is situated between the sea and the coast range. The course has recently reopened following a major redesign authored by Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design. The redesign included 18 new green complexes, an additional 400 yards and stunning new views.
The back nine is situated on the west side of HWY 101 and winds along Siletz Bay near the ocean. The front nine lies on the other side of the high way on a picturesque hillside setting. Salishan Golf Links in known for its merciless roughs that gobble up errant hit golf balls. If you are looking for a challenging course along the beautiful Oregon coast, Salishan is sure to please.

Cart Path Only
Didn’t know it would be CPO, but certainly understand with all the rain they’ve had. It actually let me enjoy the course more. Looks like they’re filling in several bunkers, which may be a good thing. Overall great day, beautiful course. No rain, but would love to play this course in a dryer condition
Beautififul Coastal Course
Very nice course layout iamong the pine tree lined course on the front nine. The front nine requires precision shot making with the driver. The back nine is pretty much wide open and very tracing to play. It is well worth the money to enjoy and play.
From the forest to the sea.
Course layout was excellent. Just had some construction on the front 9 that shortened one hole but other than that it was great. Friendly staff all the way through your 2 day stay.
Worth playing if n the area
Course was in good shape, especially considering the amount of rain lately. Cart path only, so added time to the round. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of elevation change which makes for an interesting round. Worth playing if in the area.
Worth playing if you're in the area
The course was in great shape considering the amount of rain we have had lately. The greens are a bit slow and the bunkers are packed down. Several bunkers unusable and played as ground under repair. #15 is a great par three form the top of the hill. Lots of subtle breaks on the greens.
2nd time around
Great staff today friendly and helpful, course is in very good shape for current weather. Excellent layout with plenty of challenges.
Great course/ tough conditions
This place is beautiful and challenging, rained all day/ night before I played so pretty wet slow and muddy, however, greens were great and staff was welcoming…can’t wait to play it again…tomorrow!

Beautiul winter day
Course was pretty wet as the frost comes out of the ground. All things considered in pretty good shape. A little concerned about pricing as they wanted to charge me $32 for a cart because I was a single. they paired me with 3 walkers. That wrecks the value proposition as it isn't on par with the best courses and without a deal 18 holes with a cart as a single at reg prices starts to approach $100 a round. That would be a poor value.
Best golf yet
Course is an all time favorite of mine now. They have a hole by hole handbook with tips and yardage. Fairways are in great shape. While the rough is quite wild and steep in places there is enough Fairway to keep in play. Only draw back was food and beverage service was off due to lack of staff.
