About
This challenging 18-hole, 6,501 yard, par-71 championship layout is situated between the sea and the coast range. The course has recently reopened following a major redesign authored by Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design. The redesign included 18 new green complexes, an additional 400 yards and stunning new views.
The back nine is situated on the west side of HWY 101 and winds along Siletz Bay near the ocean. The front nine lies on the other side of the high way on a picturesque hillside setting. Salishan Golf Links in known for its merciless roughs that gobble up errant hit golf balls. If you are looking for a challenging course along the beautiful Oregon coast, Salishan is sure to please.

Bunkers were in awful condition. Many under repair.
Course is worth the drive.
I haven't played here in a couple of years and wasn't disappointed. Course was in great shape and a bit of a challenge, especially in the wind. Definitely worth playing if you're in the area. Fairways and green in great shape and greens run true. I will definitely return soon.
beautiful golf course
Greens are in spectacular condition. Fast and true.
Bunkers are tough and a few have yet to be maintained after covid. Many have been fixed but quite a few are still played as ground under repair. A beautiful and difficult course that ranks among the best I've played.
Had a great time.
The course was in good shape and the pace was was fast so that being said it was fun.The only downside was there were a few wind gust that were untimely..
Salishan Delivered, Again
I was able to break away for a middle of the week round of golf at Salishan. Pace of play on the front nine was challenging and slow, but it picked up after the turn. The staff is awesome.
Hole 15 with view of crashing waves
Stunning day at the coast. Delighted to see the course so well groomed. Staff clearly putting in the extra hours to get the grass just right. Greens and fairways well tended. This links style course rewards accuracy. Stunning ocean views from the back 9.
Too pricy considering time of year
The greens were rough due to recently being punched. We were disappointed the course was not partially along side the ocean, and we could only see the ocean from one elevated tee. For western Oregon in April the green fees are high.
Nice Course
Beautiful day for a round of golf at the coast. Course was in good conditional and all of the holes interesting
The course has the layout to be one of the top courses in the state. Let alone on the coast. Keep the price reasonable then the wind won’t be the negative factor to not play. Course conditions must improve. Green were fast but multi colored. You could have a courtesy cart on 15 which would make golfers happy.
Wet and Windy
I expected a challenge and Salishan Golf Course did not disappoint. It was extremely wet in places which must be anticipated this time of year. I will be back once the course dries out.
Coastal Golf At It's Best!
Had a great round. The course was in nice shape after lots of rain. I would highly recommend this golf experience! You are either in the fir trees or next to the Bay or ocean up and down some fairly steep hills. Lots of fun for golfers of all skill levels.
Great course and experience
It was a nice course and the proshop staff were great. The only negative was the pub was closed due to Covid-19.
