Eagle River Golf Course

For an early season round the course was in great shape!

Narrow course with lots of twists and turns with plenty of elevation. Fun course that's challenging but good for most golfers

Very picturesque. The holes can sometimes seem further than it is. Need to pay attention to the distance off the tee. You also need to be a better than average putter when on the green. Can be tricky even for short puts. Just can't take your putts for granted!!

Very nice Northwoods course. In very good shape compared to last year. Cart person very nice & accommodating. Person behind the bar needs some help.

Booked that morning on golfnow. Forecast was for showers in the afternoon. They never materialized! Also it was Hodag wknd along with a rodeo in nearby Iron River, MI. Pace of play was great! Course was in good shape. Deer on the course midday. Very pleasant scenery. And easy to find. 👍👍

I was able to book online the morning of with a “hot deal.” Pace was awesome! Yet it was Hodav wknd and the rodeo was in Iron River. That may have played a part in it. Also the forecast was for rain. Greens were tough/undulating but true.My 1st time. Hope to play it again! Fun course. Oh… and I almost got run over by 2 fawns on number 11.

After a record amount of snow and ice this last winter, the course was very nice. Greens were a little dry and fast, but Mother Nature hasn’t helped much in that area. Staff was nice and bar/grill was nice to visit after our round.

I’d have to say that this course and it’s condition is improving. A couple greens were a bit rough, but playable. Aesthetic improvements are noticeable. A very picturesque course and fun to play.
