Eagle River Golf Course

This is a must do course in Northern Wisconsin. I have never seen it in better condition.

Beautiful Northwoods course. Our play yesterday wasn't as good as our previous experiences. For not being very busy after Labor Day play was very slow. 2 groups ahead of us had things bogged down and they had no interest in letting anyone play thru. Pro shop staff friendly and enjoyable as always, bar staff not so much.

It may be a case of end of season burnout.

We will certainly be back, hopefully a better experience.

Course was in excellent shape. . .maybe best ever. Pace was a little slow but typical for a Sunday. No beverage cart was a disappointment. Staff very nice.

Course was in great shape. Speed and slope on greens is challenging but they hold approach shots well. Back nine is especially pretty. Front nine has some pretty unusual holes with lots of terrain changes. Fun course to play. Would be nice if carts had GPS. Bring a course app if you have one.

Our first time on this course and very impressed with great fairways and greens, and well tended rough and bunkers. Greens staff obviously top notch especially with a busy holiday weekend.

Only issue was the grill/bar and pro shop. For our 1pm tee time, we confirmed with the office that food available for the turn and the pro shop open after finishing. At the turn, the kitchen closed early(hot dogs only) and the pro shop closed 2 hours early as well. Apparently due to some event elsewhere (racing?). Disappointing for our group.

Course was in great shape, staff was very friendly. Course is short but tight in spots with some elevation. Greens were in good shape. Greens were at a good speed for a public course. Fun "UP North" course.

Course was in great shape. Everyone was very nice. Play was a little slow but it was to be expected since it was Memorial Day weekend. Great Bloody Mary!
