Fun course, great deal
I have played this course six times in the last month and it is in great shape, well maintained. Beautiful greens with subtle slopes. In the twin cities you end up paying $50 - $75 for courses similar to this one.

Good 9 hole course
Nothing fancy. Good condition. Friendly staff. Overall good layout. Unlike most of the older courses in western Wisconsin, there are no crazy holes at Ellsworth, everything is pretty straight forward. There are a couple of big doglegs, but they are fair. Played on a weekday and had the course almost to ourselves until near the end of the 2nd 9 we caught some people. Got around in less than 3 hours, which is nice. Stop by the cheese factory after your round and get the best curds in WI.
