A Cool Day to Play
The temps were in the high 50s to mid 60s. The sky was clear and leaves from half naked trees found a way to lightly clutter the fairways. The course was beautiful, and very few golfers enjoying this day. Pace was whatever my wife and I decided was comfortable. I have played this course a number of times. I am always amazed at the elevation changes and the long drives from green to tees. Today those long drives were wonderful excursions through this amazing landscape. Bring lots of balls. If you’re a golfer who frequently misses the fairways, searching the woods is seldom if ever an option.

Beside the construction around the entrance to the course. I always enjoy my round there. Great fall value . Hope I can get another round before the season ends

The Lowlands are still in great shape for this late in the year. Always a fun 18 & the tree colors are spectacular now !

Mississippi National is my favorite course.
I play a lot of golf all over southern Mn and this place is always one of my favorites to play. It’s challenging with many different elevation changes and absolutely amazing scenery from the bluffs overlooking Red Wing. Course was in fantastic condition and I had a blast playing there again.

Great Course
Couldn’t ask for a better day! Lowlands is very scenic and well maintained. Only down side was no food available at the turn and took a while to get creating pace issues.
