Beautiful Fall Day

Returned again to Peninsula State Park in the fall. The course (tees, fairways & greens) was in excellent conditions, although the greens were extremely fast and some were highly slanted. The layout is such that I need a cart. There's a large hill to go up between #1 and #2 and likewise down for the scenic (and short) par three #8. Also some distance between #11 green and #12 tee. As a single, I was able to be waved through by a foursome and a slower twosome. I did wait a little on the back nine behind a twosome, but the views and fall foliage were enough to keep me happy while waiting.

Amazing Course

This was an absolutely amazing course to play. The beauty of the course in the autumn in Wisconsin was second to none. The course played difficult but fair. The staff were friendly and made for an all-around excellent experience.

Fall golf

I really hate to give it a perfect rating because it is quite busy and the pace is slow going but we had no problems with people letting us play through, it is no doubt one of the nicest public courses in Wisconsin but please don’t tell anymore people about it

Fantastic!

First time playing Peninsula State Park GC. From the beautiful views, to the friendly staff, to the well-run course management, and well-kept course, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Being a holiday weekend, I expected delays and slow pace but I was pleasantly surprised. And for being a public course, I was thoroughly impressed with the condition of the course from tee box to greens.

This was a great course that supplied fair, yet challenging holes. Hope to visit again!
