Good day
Resort at the Mountain golf course was in really good condition for being in the middle of October. The weather was great, mid to upper 60s. Greens fast and fairways cut, the fall leaves hid a few balls but if you stayed in the middle it was great.
Beautiful setting, nice course.
We played on a beautiful October day. The gentleman from whom we picked up our golf cart was an absolute gem and a pro at golf course customer service. The course was in good shape considering horrendous rain a week ago. Very enjoyable day. Like most resort courses, the pace of play can be a little slow because of people staying who don't play a lot of golf going out...but we all were beginners at some point, weren't we?
Beautiful location
Course was nice and excellent scenery. They could have worked on the speed of play and people who were playing because we actually had a 5-some in front of us slowing down play. But, other than that it was good and I would recommend them.
Beautiful setting. Poor management of play.
Beautiful setting. I played as single and was joined by two members on first tee who played first 9 with me. Very pleasant. Back nine alone was brutal. I followed a twosome that was following a walking single neither of which were in front of us on the first 9. Would not let me play through. I waited 3-5 minutes for every shot. Never saw a ranger. This should just be a private course as members clearly do what they want and when.
Up in the Mountains, what's not to like.
Three courses (9), each a little different. Thissel is the easy one and then pinecone get tuffer but very well maintained. Great food, this is a must to try.
the course has some surprises
There a couple of holes that you have to be careful on. The green are in great shape.
The course was fine, but the many mowers this day did not seem to recognize when to stop mowing when we are within 25 yards.
Everything was OK except our tee time did not include a cart, and for us 60 year olds (the ones who would play in the middle of the week like Wed.) that will keep us from returning and finding a course where a cart is included. Also too many mowers this day tried to play "chicken" with us by remaining in the line of fire from the tee box.
This course has varying holes
Fun course to play. Not too difficult. Pretty
setting in the mountains of Mt Hood.
Tree lined and beautiful views
Tree lined and beautiful. Nice people and fun. Must hit it straight!
Beautiful course with a choice to play on three different 9 hole courses.
The pro shop staff are outstanding offering nothing but the best service. You can choose to play on three very different 9-hole courses: Foxglove (tight) or Thistle which is nice to start on. My favourite was pine one because of the unique beauty of each hole. Loved everything about the course. Very walkable. We saw a buck, a doe and her 2 fawns on the course. Beautiful t-boxes and well maintained greens that ran fast.
Great Setting
The course was excellent. Not a long track, but some interesting features to add to the experience. Beautiful mountain setting. Not difficult to walk though. Lots of deer about. Staff in the pro shop were not willing to smile at all, although the starter was better. Right down the road from Mt Hood and the small community of Zig Zag, where there are a cpl of cool old restaurants. A bit of a drive to get to the course but worth the drive.
There are 27 holes and you pick which 18 to play.
We played Pine Cone - Foxglove. Some challenging holes. For Foxglove I enjoyed having a cart. Well maintained, quiet and serene surroundings. Make sure that you use the restroom at nine as there are no facilities on the course.
3 nine hole options, very diverse
the course is in great shape. pace of play was perfect Sunday morning. HOTDEAL price an increadable value!
great staff
Looks easy... but looks are not everything - can be tricky.
Fun course. Required a lot of different shots. Sadly, we had to follow a threesome that played from the tips but should have been on the reds (no Marshall)
Golf Now was a great deal. But the everyday greens fee is too high for the course.
The course was great!
I'm a visitor to Oregon visiting old friends! We played golf both the 10th & 11th of July and simply enjoyed playing your courses. I've been to a few golf courses all over the world and you have nothing to be ashamed of. We were well taken care of! Thank you for your hospitality.
Beautiful scenry and fun course to play.
Course is a good course to play. Fairways are a bit rough and bumpy. The are also having trouble with moles but their mounds don't really impact play.
Beautiful setting
This course has 3 nine hole courses. We played Thistle which was a little easier and a great nine hole course and Foxglove which is much more challenging! The courses were in beautiful condition in a beautiful setting. We have played here a few times and will be back again as the resort is a great destination vacation!
Very Beautiful and the only choice you have if you are staying in the area unless you want to drive 20-45 min to get elsewhere.
Extremely beautiful setting. Unfortunately the management of the place needs work. One morning no one showed up to start, people standing around waiting to play. Their season really starts after the 4th of July thru the summer so during the week before that it seems working is optional. Luckily the scenery makes up for it. Rains on you quite often so bring rain gear. Good vacation.
Greens and fairways well maintained.
Course provides challenges for all skill levels and the 3 Nines each provide their own unique characteristics.
