Yet another fun round of golf at The Pag!

Then, there was a tornado warning on our son's phone as we rounded the turn. No worries as the server behind the bar was kind enough to take a pic of our 3 Generation foursome.

We'll be back!

We played the course for the first time in ten years. The course is in much better condition now than it used to be. We had a threesome and quickly caught up to a foursome who played very slowly and poorly. They never considered waiting for us to pass them at the next tee. There was no one in sight in front of them. We finally hit up their tails on the tenth hole and they got the hint and let play through. We finished more than three holes before them. No marshalls keeping the pace of play in order.

Also, no beverage cart on the course. We stopped into the club house for a soda and a snack but had to leave empty handed. The bar customers obviously have priority over the golfers. Have the feeling that this is a bar with some golf holes out back.

Put a small cooler behind the golf counter so the golfers can get something at the turn without bothering the bartenders. At least a couple of vending machines.

Played 18 holes of SUPER Fun golf at The Pag! Friendly staff and excellent course maintenance made the day a true pleasure.

The course is in much better shape than I can remember. They've added a longer set of tees that appear to minimize wear on the "Whites".

Young desk staff and bar attendant all greeted me as I walked through their respective areas.

Course maintenance foreman (Glen) even asked how I felt the course was playing.

I know it's early season but there are much better golf courses to play for similar price or even less. If you're looking for this specific area I know there's not a lot of other choices but if you want to drive 30 minutes they're way better courses. The greens are small and in solid shape rolling well. But they are also extremely simple flat with maybe one break/slant. Overall the course is super basic nothing fancy a couple unique holes but nothing right home about. For 40$ this would be a solid option but 50+ is kind of a joke in my opinion. The only reason why I go to this course is to meet my friend halfway between Madison and Milwaukee. Carts are old and make weird noises. Over all C+

Had a fine time on a windy day at Paganica GC! The leaves made finding balls quite challenging.

(Friendly Suggestion: Rivermoor GC in Waterford, WI has a similar number of trees but a better system of managing the leaves - might be worth asking what they do differently)

As always, the pro shop staff and bar had friendly folks!

Don't underestimate this 6.3k yd (White Tees) course! The hills (uneven lies) and tree-lined fairways are plenty challenging!

Welcomed by cheerful staff (Macy - I believe} and unbothered by skillful the maintenance crew while playing - it was a fabulous day of golf!

We ended up playing nine and had an amazing time! Course was in great shape and all the staff was absolutely awesome like usual! Definite must play!!;)
