Crazy Fairways
Was in town for sons hockey camp. The course itself wasn't bad. Forgot if I played e/w or n/s. Greens were in good shape but the fairways were ridiculous. I've never played a course where there were mini rolling hills throughout the fairways. So a well hit drive in the middle of the fwy could be in some 4 inch deep depression forcing a punch shot for an approach or misjudging distances because uphill lie. Odd. Overall nice course though some good challenges and precision shot making off the tee for approach set ups are required.
Great course
Really great course to play. Have played both 18 and you have great challenges to keep you coming back.
Great course, mediocre staff.
I've played Nemadji several times, and it is a great course. I like that it is challenging but in a way that you can certainly keep up with it, and as a left handed player, many holes dogleg left so it plays a bit to my advantage. It was early in the season so the course was still pretty wet but it was playable, I think a couple more weeks of good weather and it will be in great shape. The only issue I ever seem to run into at this course is the staff. Many of them don't seem to really know what is going on. I have had starters that don't give very much information on questions asked, or in the case of my last visit, the starter really didn't seem to know what he was doing. We had a slow 4-some in front of our 2-some and another 4 behind us. we teed off about 15 minutes after our scheduled time, and the only service we got on the tee was the starter harassing us to ensure we paid for our round (he was the one that rang us up and gave us a cart key). Other than that this is a great course, one of the best in the area, and very well maintained, just don't expect the greatest customer experience.
Love Nemadji!
This is our second time playing Nemadji in Superior, WI. The course was fair and in great shape. We have been especially impressed with the staff. Very friendly!
Barely worth FREE!
I play 30-40 different courses a year and I have never played a more terrible run course in my life. The conditions are not great, but acceptable. Forget the money, don't waste your time!
Nice well maintained course
Overall nice course, has a little of everything to offer, from elevated greens to water, woods, and bunkers. Would recommend for anyone , and plan to play again myself.
