Bardmoor is a 18-hole par 72 premier Tampa golf course that was redesigned in 2001 by Gary Koch. Bardmoor Golf and Tennis Club epitomizes Florida golf at its finest. Pristinely manicured, it has TifEagle greens, state-of-the-art practice facilities and an award winning golf shop. Golf celebs such as Arnold Palmer, Payne Stewart, Tom Weiskoff, Fred Couples, Tom Kite, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Greg Norman, David Love III, Paul Azinger, Jan Stephenson, Julie Inkster, Dawn Coe Jones and Nancy Lopez have participated in tournaments here.

Good course
I enjoyed the entire course but the pace of play was a source of disappointment for me
1st Round of 2024
I'm 70 yrs old and a 13 hndicap. Usually play twice a week at courses near my home in Raleigh, NC. Courses there are more challenging with elevation changes and rock hard, fast greens. So, I enjoyed the wide-open fairways and somewhat receptive greens. I played the whites on the front and the golds on the back and shot my handicap. The course layout is fair and somewhat forgiving for players of all levels.

Decent but overpriced
The course was okay. I came into town to visit family and boy am I am glad I got the hot deal through golf now because I would have been furious if I paid full price ($92) to play here. For nearly $100 per round the course is not worth it. The greens were saturated and fury. Very slow.
Course was nicely laid out for the most part but some holes don’t make any sense (I.e. forced to hit a 6 iron off a par 5 because of a creek running through the fairway). Another hole that looks like it goes right but is a hard dog leg left (hole 9). Signage was horrible. Some holes didn’t have signs, tee box markers were mix matched and different types, and there were water coolers duct taped to poles. Stuff you would expect to see at a cheap municipal course but not at a supposed high end course charging $100 per round.

A Fair test for all levels of play
Fun layout. You’ll use every club in the bag. Greens are ok. Patchy areas throughout but very playable

Greedy shop
I made a 1:30 tee time for “full price”. A 4hr round would have finished right at dusk. A tournament was sent off at 1;00 pm. We played behind the event and obviously didn’t finish. I would not have chosen this tee time had I known about the event. I couldn’t cancel as it was within the 24 hrs. It’s greedy to take a full fee with no chance of completing a round.
