Excellent greens, course was in decent shape
Course was fun to play but I would agree with others in saying that it is not worth the going rate with what other courses offer for half the price. Would definitely play here again on a deal time though.
It’s not worth the 95 dollars they normally charge at this time. They have 5 or 6 fairways that are just horrible right now. The greens and around the greens are perfect though. Just a heads up at the pro shop would have gone a long way.
I have played this course several times and it’s normally one of this best ones around. I will definitely not be holding this against them and will go back in the fall.
Cullmanruinedcourse
By buying Terri Pines, the city of Cullman has destroyed a country club that was once respected. My foursome predicted this years ago - the course was in the second worse condition than other courses I have played this year. Most fairways were not playable. The greens looked good BUT were very very very very SLOW The greens were FUN to putt on 5 years ago. I made 4 birdies on what is now the front nine once when the course was in great shape - NOT NOW. Putting these greens was UNBEARABLE. All 4 of use 3 putted most of the time. IT WAS NOT FUN. Both golf courses in Cullman are now run by the city but have a HUGE difference in price to play. Even though Cross Creek is not in great shape, it has been packed with golfers - not Terri Pines. Golfers cannot afford $85-95 green fees in this area. We are not millionaires. WAKE UP city of CULLMAN. I LAST played at Terri Pines FIVE YEARS AGO. I will not play again EVER. TOO BAD.
fairways in disrepair
some of the fairways were in bad shape due to hard freezes and lots of rain. however, the majority of the fairways were in good shape.
Great Value
Greens were beautiful. Held a good shot. Fairways are a little rough but can assume they’ll grow in soon. Enjoyed the layout and challenge. Looking forward to the next time.
Not good
To many unfair holes. Hit a shot on 2 1 foot from green from 120 out. Rolled back past me next shot 140 really put some terrace work in
Beautiful layout.
Great time. Only negative is it was cart path only due to rain the day before. Lot of walking up and down hills.

My buddy and I went to play this course on Sunday afternoon and was charged $75.00 and the Greens have bad spots on all of them and were slow. The course needs a lot of work from the Tee Boxes, Fairways, Bunkers and Greens. They had put some new sand in some of the bunkers. The Members in front of us wouldn’t even take the bunkers they just hit from and walked all over. We were very disappointed and won’t be back. Stay away!!!! This is at best a $30.00 course.
Disappointed
Extremely disappointed. Course is in terrible shape especially the greens. I was shocked based on other recent reviews. The course is way overpriced including the Hot Deal on GolfNow. I can’t believe people are willing to pay $65.00 or more to play this course. The city of Cullman should be ashamed.
Bad timing
Course was nice but we caught it at a bad time. They had just aerated the greens a couple days before so they were in bad shape. Needed more sand put on them and rolled. My buddies had a hard time putting on them but I putted ok. The staff was great about it. They let us play and gave us a rain check to come back and play it again.
Great course
Fun course to play. Has a little water to deal with which makes it a challenge but a great experience.
Should be Terri Hills. :)
Played this course while travelling thru to Florida. It was early March so most of the fairway/rough was still dormant.
PACE: Excellent. Was the first off the tee. Played 2 balls and still made it around in 3.5 hours.
CONDITIONS: Again, a lot of the grass was still dormant. The greens were in excellent conditions. The tee boxes could use some attention, but being off-season they still weren't bad. Bunkers were fine.
STAFF: Incredibly welcoming and helpful.
VALUE: Not sure of golf rates in northern Alabama, but I had no concern about the rates.
LAYOUT: As noted in the title, there are a lot of hills on this course. I'd like another chance at #2. #3 is a fun tee shot. The green for #6 is a fun, hilly, challenge. I found the drive on #13 to maybe be the toughest shot on the course.
I prefer to walk when golfing. Though I saw some walkers out on the course, I would probably opt for a cart in the future as well.

As good as it gets.
Course provided an excellent presentation of golf of the highest caliber even though we have just experienced about six weeks of drought. Beautiful views and elevation changes abound with pristine greens. Also had the friendliest clubhouse and grounds staff you could ever encounter.

Played like crap. Want a refund. Just kidding Course was awesome. Loved it. Will definitely play again and again.
Well worth the drive
This was my first time playing this course and I drove better than an hour to get there but it won’t be my last. The course was in very good condition, especially considering the hot dry weather we have been having recently. Management obviously takes a lot of pride in caring for this course. The folks in the golf shop were very friendly and helpful too.
This course is in excellent condition
One of the best courses I’ve played so far this season. I recommend everyone to play TP Country Club, you won’t be disappointed.

I certainly hate that expectations were not met during your most recent visit to Terri Pines. I would love the opportunity to host you again in a few weeks when our fairways have had time to recover from the damage that came with the January ice storm. As for our bentgrass greens, it is imperative that we keep them at a healthy length as we head into the a season where the heat tends to stress them out. After heavy rainfall, they sometimes do not roll as fast as we would like, but I trust you will like them better during your next visit. Feel free to reach out to me at mlivengood@cprst.org, to discuss further.
