Slow play
Three twosomes in a row behind a 5some...none of the twosomes were allowed to golf through!! A lot of slow play....and backing up of golfers behind them. Don't know why fivesomes ...and sixsomes...are allowed to play. If so, they should have the courtesy to have the people behind them play through. Sorry for the rant!!

Lake Forest
Playing in front of a couple of 5 somes, seems to be the norm in lower Alabama as I have encountered this at most of the clubs I’ve played.
Plenty of elevation change, greens are decent speed. It’s just the pace of play lowers the rating.

Great value
Course is in decent shape, and it’s a great value for the price. Greg greens were in fair shape and almost all of the tee boxes were as well. The only drawback is the driving range, which is small and is irons only.
Should have known for $35
Staff seemed as though they were serving community service hours. This course needs landing zone signage (yardage to doglegs and hazards from the tees) This would definitely improve first time visitors experience. Most all the greens had poana which makes putting an adventure at best. 5 stars Pace of Play very few people there.

Great except for my score
Fisrt time playing here and I was rather impressed with the place. Very easy flowing course but they could have some better signage between a few holes to better direct you to the next hole.
Greens were bumpy and hard some foreign grasses growing in them.
People and staff were great as well as the locals along the course.

Course is in great condition and always well kept especially with all the rain we’ve had here. Great job with the course management . Very friendly staff.
