Dogwood/Pines at TimberCreek Golf Club

I’ll start by saying this got 2 stars only because I didn’t pay much for the round. Under $30.

There were no carts available until 30 mins after my tee time. The guy in the cart barn was just handing out carts to whoever asked first regardless of the tee times and there were plenty of people waiting. The delay was caused by a tournament - in which they let golfers sit down and eat at the turn in the clubhouse?? Never heard of such. The tournament still had golfers teeing off on the back 9 after 2pm.

I’ve played this course more than 10 times. Can’t say I’ll be back if this is what it has turned into. The greens were horrible for late April.

It’s sad people pay money to play here. Layout great, people great, course is unplayable. No water, no investment, getting worse everyday.

I’d have to say that these were the worst greens I’ve played on. Nothing but chalky surfaces and dead grass.

The greens are completely unplayable, nothing but sand and muck. Fairways and rough are all in bad shape. Half of the cart paths need to be replaced. The only thing in the bunkers are compacted sand and water. Practice facilities can't be used for actual practice. Not worth your money to play right now. Staff was amazing, and played 18 holes in an hour and 45 minutes.

Fantastic layout and incredibly friendly staff, but they have some disease or something in their greens. Completely gone. 80% sand.

Greens were way below average . Grass to high around the course along with hazards everywhere with the broken up cart paths . It was playable . The service in the club house was second to none but the course itself needs some attention .

Greens are burnt to bare dirt and atrocious. To pay $65 is a tragedy for this course.

For the price that they have raised the rates to the greens are awful!!! They should give discounts for the greens being so bad .

Every green was unplayable. Most fairways were just weeds. The course was EXCEPTIONALLY un maintained. The only area that actually had grass was the driving range.

Nice layout. Challenging but fair off the tee. Just can’t get past the terrible conditioning. Greens are in terrible shape. Some of the worst I’ve played. Cart paths are really rough. Course has great potential but it needs a LOT of work. It’s in a state of neglect and going to require some serious money to bring it back. Those greens aren’t coming back unless they start over. I will not return.

Greens had mold on them. I know the time of year but that was terrible. Doesn’t look like they are doing anything to keep it up. Multiple areas that the cart path was roped off and broke. Just hard to believe they can charge $70 to play that course. It was worth $10

I like this course and i like to support out local community but...

Check in was ok and we started playing. No marshal and the speed of play was awful. Not the end of the world because i had two beginners so they could take their time and re-hit some shots.

Greens don't deserve the name. On most of them o grass is left and you have to put thru green bunkers.

Talking about bunkers, they are filled with mud and water.

No drink cart on a Saturday?!

This was the worst round i ever played, paying 65$ person.

Clearly no investment has been made - used to be nice

The greens were the worst non aeration greens I’ve played several were full of dead and bad spots. I don’t think I will be back to play

The staff was friendly and helpful. Most tee boxes are good. Fairways good. Greens were quick but inconsistent with grass. Some areas was just dirt. But they roll the greens to keep everything flat. Some areas are a mixture of grass and dirt. Which tends to make the ball jump and affect the roll. Sand traps were also inconsistent with some sand to no sand just hard ground

Overall not bad but I Unser a hot deal which took off $15 dollars or so. Should be less for the conditions.
