The staff was extremely courteous and went out of their way to assist you with getting you on to their course. I was on vacation and I have to say that I was extremely pleased with the course and my day thank you.
First round this year
It's a good looking course when the grass is growing and green.
Greens are average for winter
The greens have some type of weed grass causing some bumpy rolls. Not terrible for this time of year, though.
Great Value
Course is in great shape and fun layout. Need to work on the pace of play. Waited several minutes to tee off at every hole. Group in front of us was absolutely the slowest group I’ve ever played behind.
Really good layout
Course is in great shape for this time of year! Greens are in really good shape and rolls good. The golf carts are all equipped with gps which is really handy.
Definitely Recommend
This course is a great test for all levels. The course is in great playing shape and the greens are quicker than you think. The greens have a lot of personality and you will be surprised at the pace and undulations that all greens have. For longer players the course is designed with trouble at your length and for shorter and average players the landing zones off of tees can get real tight. I am a +4 player and completely enjoy myself every time I tee it up here. The staff is great and food and beverage choices and prices are good.
Covid-19 mandate is not being followed in the club house. Employees not wearing masks nor are the customers. THERE IS A MASK MANDATE IN ALABAMA. Follow the rules.
Crowded
Felt rushed and had to wait on each tee forever! Great course for a higher skilled player but if ur not a low handicap get ready to lose a ton of balls! Course was in excellent shape greens were very nice!
Overall great place!
Cross Creek is a great place to play for the money you spend. The people are friendly. I’ve never had a problem and love the course layout. Not to hard but not to easy either. Would highly recommend to anybody!
5.5 hours to play 18.....
The good, the course is nice, friendly staff.
The bad, course management was terrible this particular day. First time there so I cant say if this is the norm or not. Way overbooked. Like I said 5.5 hours to play. Holes would literally have 3-4 groups at a time. I’ve never heard “fore” so much in my life. Couple close calls myself (offense & defense). Just be cautious when you call and they tell you it will be “a little slow”.
