Great course...in its day
This is your typical "Old Bushwood" style country club course: Lots of trees on a well designed parkland layout. However, this "Old Bushwood" has seen better days. A terrible lack of attention (or money??) has left the track in sad shape. Greens, while presenting challenging contours, are terribly pock marked. Crab grass abounds and most bunkers need attention. All that said, I enjoyed my round...especially at the Golfnow Hotprice price of $18.50. However, it is not worth the "going rate" of $55 given the conditions. For that kind of money you can get on some of the RTJ courses. But for $25 or$30 with cart it is a good way to experience one of those venerable country club layouts.
My buddy's home course and all is good.
It was not in as good shape as it has been in the past. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our play. I would play there again since my buddy used to be a member there and we know the course.
