Tee Time Miss
Had an 11:29 Tee Time , they were out of carts so didn't get on the course till 12:30 They also charged an additional $16 for a cart
Great Course For The Price!
Colonial is a very open and forgiving course with greens and tee boxes that are very well cared for even during the winter months. The course is a little tight so keep your head on a swivel because it is not uncommon for balls to end up in the wrong fairways.
Staff is friendly and the course is very easy to get around walking or riding. I play all the public courses in northern Alabama and you cannot find a better course for the money.
Winter Golf
Fairly pleasant winter day, a bit windy, but sunny. Course was in reasonably good condition considering the rain we've had over the last week or so, with a few muddy spots in some of the rough and around a couple of the the greens. First time we played this course so early on it was a bit hit and miss without any hole markers. Two of the holes were shorted due to repair. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful

are re doing theses greens
Not a single hole was marked. 2 holes were in the fairway
Not a single hole was marked. We skipped several holes and had to go find the others after we made it back to the clubhouse with 3 holes missing on our card. 2 of the holes were in the middle of fairway. Putting was impossible on those. I won't be back without cutting the price in half
Fall day great golf.
We had a very nice relaxing round today. It was a full course but moved along pretty well. Course is in good shape. A couple greens in rebuild, but that will be better in the spring. Take time to visit them.

Great course to score on. Very open with little hazard area and ob.
Solid Course
Nice well taken care of fun course. There are just a few tee boxes where the owner needs to put zoysia.

The course is in as good a shape as I’ve seen in the last 10 years.
Staff are great. I did get surprised by the hot deal being walking only and had to pay for a cart. But the condition of the course made it worth while.

The course is always in great shape. The staff treats you like family which is unusual for such a great course. I would play here everyday if I could.

Colonial is open and doing everything it can to stay within the new COVID-19 regulations and still provide a round of golf to those of us who simply can't stay inside anymore! The course is in decent shape, but the greens were plugged and sanded. Didn't care! It was a great day for a round of golf. Thanks for being open!
