First time playing.
Friendly and helpful from the start! Fairways in good shap, greens had many bait spots.
A Charming Old Southern Belle in Need of TLC
Friendly staff. Decent pace. A few shots that require shaping, so that kept my interest. From the tips, the par 3s are no joke; bring a good long iron game with you.
This is a Zoysia grass course, so you won’t get much roll-out in the fairway, but better that than the rough. A ball in the rough on this course can literally disappear before your eyes.
On Sept. 9, 2021 the greens were in horrible shape. They put the “colon” in Colonial…they were crap. But on the upside, they have little shape to them; just pick a line and putt confidently.
Great outing
As always-I enjoyed my round. Barry is always friendly and accommodation.
Good Value
This course is worth the hot deal rates. The greens are not very good but if you’re looking to practice ball striking on a strait forward solid layout for a cheap price, then it is a good course for you.
Nice course for the better than average golfer
Outside of a few open dirt areas in the rough, the course looked in decent shape. Some golfers not respectful in repairing ball marks on the greens. Generally in good shape. Would play again.
Course Marshall
My only complaint for this course would be they need a Marshall. He had a scheduled tee time but didn't get out until 1 hour afterwards, due to congestion on #1.
