Short iron course. Older course. Needs work especially the greens. Price is suitable for condition.of course. I would play it again because it's a great course for iron work.
Great place for learning golfers at a bargain price
If you’re a new golfer who has not yet played a round (18 or 9 holes) of golf and you’ve only used the driving range and practice facilities so far, this is a great place to start playing the game, especially since all 18 holes are Par 3.
Also, you can play 18 holes and have a cart to use for only a little over $21 or so. Can’t beat that.
Now to the negatives. The cart path is incomplete and trying to determine where the path resumes is confusing. Also, it can be hard to determine whether you’re heading in the right direction to get to the next correct hole on the course.
Otherwise, it’s a great place with a friendly staff, etc.
Great iron practice
Quick par 3 18 holes. Not a real challenge, but a great place to practice your irons with losing golf balls.
Perfect Day
I haven't played golf in over 25 years. My son asked me to go with him to Green Briar, since it is a par 3 course and it would be great for me to re- acclimate. Our tee time was at 11:30. The owner got us our cart and told us where to start. He was very friendly and engaging. After reading some reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. The course is really a fun course to play, especially to just spend with my son. We had a wonderful time. The course could use some work, but it was still well worth going. My son and I will definitely be going back.
Pace of play
Nice leisurely play pace. Excellent course for beginners.
Sunday afternoon
Played this course with friends on Sunday afternoon. Great course to work on your short game.
Quick short game tester
Par 3 course with small hard to hold greens. Will test you wedge game.
Waste of money
I found a hot deal on here for me and my brother. The man who owned the course was being a jerk after I said I made the purchase from Golf Now. I got two Cokes and two snickers bars. He said, "Thanks for actually spending some money here." He said he chose to be on this sight, but gets zero money from people buying from the sight. He kept saying it wasn't good for anything, but exposure.
The greens were dirt and just a bit of grass. There were no soft spots on the tee box. Just a crappy place. I felt like I wasted money after spending just $13. If I payed like only $5 I might have been happier.
Fun Little Course!
A great confindence builder for the novice golfer. Great value for the money too. Greens are REALLY fast and some had some bare pathces. Tee boxes could use some TLC. Hard to put the tee in the ground on several holes. Will be back!
NIce compact course. Great for beginners and a great place to work on your short game. Friendly staff and always open.
