Great track for your group to visit
Cherokee Ridge is back!
Conditions were excellent. Firm fast fairways and greens, and well-marked boundaries and penalty areas to help speed play.
(I re-discovered many of these).
Enjoyable round. I will be back, with my buddies.
No cart
Cart was not available on time due to management. Groups of players with 8 carts finished their round but wanted to play again,. Instead of giving up their carts to players with tee times, they started new around seven though management told them to give up the carts. People with tee times had to wait 30 minutes to hour before they can tee off.

Absolutely Amazing Golf
I’ve played here twice in recent weeks and both times I was just blow away by this course. Staff are super friendly, and the grill is great. This course is challenging at times, but overall I give it an A+ I Can’t find a picture of the greens but they are great!

Course conditions have declined due to stinky diseases greens
Unfortunately the conditions have detoriated over the past year, and I won't be coming back until it's better. It's a shame because the layout is really good.

Temporary greens were not mentioned in the GN post. Outstanding course otherwise.

We went to play but found out the greens were all under reconstruction. So very disappointing that Teeoff would sell us a round on this course.

One of my favorite courses to play.
Would normally give them all 5 stars but the greens are under repair right now so playing on temp greens is not as fun. Still got a good round in with a little rain in between. I'll definitely go back when the new greens are ready.

Greens bad
The course was great. But the greens weren’t in shape. They had temporary greens in front of the real ones. For future on this app. There should be a way where the course and you guys contact for for these situations

Stay away
I love CRGC and play here regularly. I ALWAYS give a great review. However, I was not aware that they are replacing their greens and using temporary ones. Even the temporary greens could have been better prepared. Seems like they just stuck a hole with a flag in the fairway and called that a temporary green; bumpy and unputtable!
Drove 50 miles each way and was thoroughly disappointed. Played 9 holes and left frustrated! They did offer a free round in the future, sans cart fee, but that’s no consolation for my anticipation and expectation! My advice is stay away until the new greens materialize.

Green Replace
Course was in great shape, they are in the process of replacing the greens with Bermuda. The rest of the course was in great shape , looking forward to playing for many years to come on the new Bermuda greens when they are in. Staff was outstanding as always. Highly recommend this course to all levels of players .

It was a great day on a beautiful golf course. We played and enjoyed knowing that all the greens were being replaced. Come September Cherokee Ridge will reclaim it's rating as one of the best in North Alabama.
