Course appears to be under a lot of old repair that has been left incomplete.. nice course to work on your long and short irons. No hole over 370. Course was hard and dry and greens unputtable - but if watered regularly - this could be a nice game practice course
Course is absolutely trash
The “greens” have no green. It’s a mixture of nothing (bare ground and mud) and dead grass. You can’t take putting serious. One hole was so bad they cut the hole in the fairway instead of the green.
Fair ways were cut , the greens are terrible. But they have improved the cart paths
Some greens aren’t great but overall fun course to play
Nice course, issue with certain worker
I NEVER write reviews but after myself and a separate player purchased a tee time to play with our 5 year old children, we arrived to check in. We spoke an employee by the name of Brenda who was very rude and unprofessional. She refused to let us play because we needed to pay for a separate cart even though the tee times were purchased at two different times which included a cart. After calling the Marshal, who was very professional and apologized for her behavior, she began fussing and carrying on about not letting the 5 year old kids drive the golf cart (which was never going to happen), stating we would be paying for damages if anything were to happen.
-Pace of play was somewhat of an issue today but was expected due to spring break and the amount of people on the course.
One of my favorites…
It’s always good to revisit the course that you first learned to play golf on…My case, during the mid 1970’s.
BREC has spent some money on layout changes, greens and new carts. The changes are all good and the old course is just a blast to play.
Greens hold and putt well. Those folks that hit long irons well can leave the big clubs in the trunk.
Will be back soon….
Cheap Play Get what you Pay For
Slow slow play, terrible greens, still fun for passing the time. Cheap cheap play so I didn’t expect much and honestly probably got more than expected.
Horrible horrible horrible
First time come and last time went to check in the girl was very nice the older short bald guy was very rude disrespectful and gave me the worst cart they had the weel was so messed up it would bump not ride but bump u everywhere the marshal was awesome. Course was very very confusing a couple groups didn't even know what tee they were on or where the greens. Very confusing place the short bald guy was absolutely pitiful will never come back if I see that guy is still working there
