Average Course
Course was average, layout is solid enough with some challenge and undulations. However greens were terrible, all sand with little grass. Fairways were solid, nothing special but not alarming. Course looks like it has potential but no actual care. I’d like to play again in the future after a little TLC.
Golf game
We were given a tee time with a tournament and older guys where very pushy but we were in a good mood. Things could’ve gotten ugly if we wanted to cause a issue.
Greens were trash
The greens were being redone and had more sand on them than grass which is fine there were being worked on but staff didn’t mention it before hand on the phone call before we came or the morning we checked in
Thursday Thrill
My Son played a wonderful round, driving and chipping on point. Great day indeed!
Needs work
Layout good for short course. Fairways getting good. Greens in need of major TLC. Overall fun to play
Greens only mostly dead
Greens haven’t recovered from the winter yet, so putting can be frustrating. Chip it close!
Good value
Pretty good overall course. Got out there early in the morning and it was great. Not too many people. By 9am it was very busy. Only complaint I had was the groundskeeper seemed to be following right behind me in his lawn mower for about 4 holes which was distracting.
Great Public Course
Webb Memorial is a wonderful course considering it is maintained by the city/parish. The course was very wet, we did have about 6 inches of rain in the past couple of days. Greens were in really good shape considering .
