Great condition
The golf course is in great condition. Been playing this course for 40 years and it's in top condition. Only thing I don't care for is the starters want to pair you up if your a single. I don't mind that except they want you to share a cart with a stranger if your riding. But like I said the condition of the course couldn't be any better.
Bad staff
The guy at the register made all golf now players pair up even though the course was empty. Also, he refused to let a single golf now player play his round. We had to wait for all golf now players. It didn’t matter if we paid for our own individual carts. Terrible management. Golf now should contact this course ASAP.
Greens are in bad shape and plenty of construction
Down tree branches are in the fairway. Greens are super sandy. Traps are hard. Fairways are in good shape.
Webb Memorial is getting it's act together
Played an afternoon round and was impressed by the condition of the course. There was plenty of construction going on, so expect machines and extra people around as they remove old trees and add a pavilion. The fairways were in the best I've seen them and the greens were in good shape.
Muny that is in great shape. I always like playing
this course. The lay out is challenging. The small greens make you think about your short game. Whether walking or riding, this course brings back memories of the course I learned on in the New Orleans area. Whether this course or others in the BR area, it's a great price and you still have to make the short.
Rainout
I only put poor ratings, because I did not get a chance to play because of the weather. I booked a hot deal last week and now I can't get refund. Miserable day. Webb and the staff are ok, but the course could use a facelift, eskpecially the restrooms. Thats why women stopped coming, because who wants to sit next to bugs and filth while they "tee tee" (pun intended). Brec has the worst amenities out of all the courses I've played. They just added some water fountains to Beaver Creek to replace the crusty coolers with 3 day old water we used to have. Bravo for that, but far from perfection overall.
Nice round of golf
My family and I had a great time playing at this golf course. For my kids was the first time playing so we were a little slow but we didn’t feel any pressure from the people playing behind us. The golf course was busy but the pace was good. The course convictions were good, some of the greens need improvement, there were some spots with sand instead of grass. In general it was good for the money we paid. I would definitely recommend it for an intermediate golfer.
Webb memorial
Every time I use golf now and go to this course the staff will not let you check in till exactly 30 min prior to your tee time. They will not let you tee off until exactly your tee time. For instance I was there about 15 minutes early and no one was about to start so I asked if I could go ahead and start they would not allow me to tee off The always say that they don’t get any money from golf now so they make everyone who uses golf now play by a different set of rules. The course was in horrible condition with no grass on the greens
Solid municipal golf course
Golf course was in great condition for a municipal golf course.
Greens are finally coming around
The sand traps could use some more sand but the greens are finally coming around. The small camel back greens that are well protected by bunkers makes it a real challenge to get up and down when you miss a green. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pro shop although small is well stocked and the prices are reasonable.
Don't bring your wife
To quote my pms riddled "better" half: there's too many dragonflies and it's too hot. Besides playing on Instagram and driving me everywhere besides where my ball landed, she played 1 hole hit sand and declared "done". I love paying double for a hormonal caddy with a feather foot and a Pinterest addiction.
So Webb, next time turn down the temperature and tell those dragonflies to buzz off. You're ruining a perfectly good game.
Greens are back
Right amount of temp, rain, and sun and the greens and fairways have grown in nicely. Greens are putting true only a few trouble spots on greens .Bunkers well maintained.
