Nice fairways
Fairways were in great condition, the greens were a little shaggy but rolled true. Mostly temporary tees but they were still in ok condition. I will be playing here again
Tees boxes and bunkers need work.
The greens were in decent shape as were the fairways. The tee boxes were all blocked off for renovation. The bunkers should have been labeled Ground Under Repair as they were mostly packed dirt.
I do like this course and hope the fixes happen soon.
Riverlands golf course and play
Pro shop is being rebuilt and not useable. Club house was great with great with great employees and help. The temporary pro shop was small but highly functional and with excellent and efficient customer service. Was impressed with personal handling the shop. Very knowledgeable and friendly. We were greeted with a warm and inspiring smile!!!
Great shape!
Overall course conditions were much improved as compared to a few months ago.
Course/Facilities conditions
As I do understand that the recent hurricanes/storms have put a hurting on the facility and course, but since I’ve been away from my Riverlands CC family membership I had between 2002-2012 all I’ve noticed is a hard decline in course conditions. Especially letting grass grow too high before cutting leaving a lot of excess dead grass all over course and the Pro Shop I noticed is still condemned from the last storm and the temporary one doesn’t seem to have any items for sale and the Pro shop staff is inexperienced in anything golf related. The facility needs major improvements to get it back up to where it was 10-12yrs ago.
Golf staff awful, Bar staff fantastic
The course tee boxes were in awful condition. The greens were in amazing condition. The rough was cut short but the fairway was not cut at all. When you drive the ball from the tee box, it stopped wherever it landed. The grass did not allow it to roll.
The golf staff was not very polite or nice, but the bar staff was amazing. The food inside the clubhouse is exceptional.
Raincheck ?? None given ???? WOW
Paid for two greens fees on July 12th and it started raining on us after 9:00 we waited out the rain and then went into the clubhouse for a second. Took our clubs unloaded them as it rained too much to play anymore, and proceeded to the clubhouse the check in girl about a rain check. Come find out they don't give any rain checks there therefore I'm highly disappointed and Blown Away in all because that's the first time I ever heard a golf course tell me I couldn't have a rain check much less the fact that they don't give them! I'm done playing here too bad is a decent course
