Belle Terre Country Club

I’m not a very good golfer, but I really enjoyed playing this course! It was absolutely punishing to my slice though!! And that’s not a complaint about the course! It was challenging for me, I lost a bunch of balls to the water, but it really forced me to lock in and hit as straight as I could. The course was pretty well maintained. Challenging greens too! I definitely look forward to a trip here again, can’t wait to play this course a second time! Bring plenty of extra balls if you frequently hit a draw or a slice!!

The course needs some help. Bathrooms are horrendous.

I went out there to play thinking that it would be the same condition as the previous week only to find out that they had sanded most of the greens. Lots of sand not just a little. They have two types of grass that are growing and they're trying to kill off part of it. From the sounds of it they're going to be redoing the greens and shutting down for several months. Otherwise the course was in good condition

The grass was extremely long for not having rain and the areas that were cut had rows of grass clippings worse shape I have seen the course in a while.

Grass was so tall we lost 4 balls on the first 3 holes. Fairways were bad. Tee boxes had weeds sticking up. If you didn't hit the fairway good luck finding it. grass was 8 inches are better. The few holes that looked like they actually cut a few days earlier were covered on piles of dead grass like you were bailing hay. Greens were bumpy but probably the only half decent part. Not worth the time or drive. & When we added a 4th to our threesome it was $20 more than the rest of us paid.

They has not cut the front nine. I can’t tell you how many balls I lost just off the fairway.

They must be paying people to give this course good reviews. I checked out the reviews before booking and saw all of the positive comments so I booked it. Well when I got there it was pretty bad! Grass wasn’t cut even on the fairway. The bunkers were atrocious. And it’s just not well kept! It was not worth the money we paid. So anyone that is interested in playing this course should be aware that it is not in good shape.

I have played Belle Terre numerous times and noticed little things the new owners were doing or not doing. Today was the end all. Tee boxes uncut, and so unlevel you were playing with the ball above or below your feet more than on the fairway. The sand traps have become wastelands and over run with grass. I have seen mini courses in way better shape. The owners need to sell to someone who will run this course like it was in the past. I now understand why members have left. The $75 charged is way overpriced. I paid $50 through Golf Now and it was too much. Do not play here

Played the day after some heavy rains, cart path only. Course was much drier than expected and fairways were growing in nicely. Most greens were pretty good, a little slow but rolling true. Pace of play was great considering it was COP.

Course has always had great potential but upkeep is questionable. Many greens were below average with a few that were good., bunkers unplayable, tee boxes like concrete as you need a hammer to put your tee in the ground. They have raised the cost to play to 50.00 or more when it should be a 35.00 course max. Without a deal on golf now it would not have been worth it. A little work put in and it would be a nice course to play.

The course has a great layout, but unfortunately the owner will mot invest in course maintenance. The course is fine during the fall, winter, and some of spring, but is unplayable during the summer. Greens are slow, sandtraps are concrete, fairways are uncut, and the rough is a jungle. They just don't have the staff to keep up and it shows.

If you really just consider fairways and greens

then I would say iBelle Terre was very nice. But the bunkers are really bad and it didn’t help that there was a lot of rain there couple days prior my visit. But fairways had plenty of grass and the greens, for the most part, while some did not look that great, they all rolled very consistently. I would definitely go back, but maybe try and play for the discounted rates
