About
Cypress Lakes Country Club is the centerpiece of the Ormond community, a neighborhood of more than 500 homes. Blending seamlessly into the surrounding cypress trees, the golf course is both challenging and scenic. You'll have to navigate your way around 17 different ponds that come into play throughout the course. With several forced carries over wetlands, it will feel like there is water at every turn. There are also 40 strategically placed bunkers bordering the greens and fairways. It's a layout that will test your accuracy and ability to strategize. Multiple sets of tees keep scratch golfers happy while beginners can also approach the course with confidence. In addition to the golf course, Cypress Lakes has a practice facility featuring a 400-yard driving range with multiple targets and putting and chipping greens.

The course is in great condition, and a good value for the money.
Even though they just sanded the greens, they were in good shape and predictable. They allowed the ball to roll out and not put on the brakes.
The staff, from the pro shop to the starter to the cart return, were all very pleasant and helpful .
It’s a really pretty golf course. I really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to play there again
Great Day to Swing my clubs with family and friends
Cypress Lakes was great a good weather, greens, fairways, are in great shape. Pace of play was good. Just wish my game was as great as the time we spent playing that round. Brian and Smiley see ya next week
Well maintained
Well maintained course, the layout offers some challenge and there is plenty of water but in more enjoyable fashion than straight par 3s over water (though they do have that)
Think the value is great, didn’t see a marshal to keep pace of play and weren’t coolers or cart concessions so prepare for such. Will definitely play again
Soon to be great!
As soon as all of the updates/renovations are in, this will be a premier club and course! Enjoyed the round very much!
Not for beginners
Ties to play a twilight round had plenty times available but once on the course there were 5 groups playing 3 holes. Course is in great condition but is one of the tougher ones with a lot of forced carries water everywhere and hidden hazards if you haven’t played there before. Not a good course if you can’t get the ball lunched or are erratic off the tee box. Whites play almost like tips but it is very well kept green have different speeds per hole but are well managed.
Amazing course
Perfect as always. Great course. Great food. Great staff
Challenging for the average golfer
The course has a very nice layout. Challenging for beginners and fun for the lower handicap players.
I enjoyed my round and looking forward to for my next round there.
Cypress Lakes in good shape
Greens are rolling pretty quick, some poa on greens but should be dying out with the heat. Fairways are very firm, need water. Pace of play was very good.
Ready for the season
This course is just about ready for the upcoming golf season. It's in good shape but some of the greens are still coming around but you can see they're almost there. The pace of play was a bit slow, especially for a Tuesday round but luckily I was allowed to play through twice. Looking forward to more rounds here in the near future.
Very Nice Course
Course in pretty good condition. Greens are in great shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pace of play was great. Overall a very good day.
