Grand Ridge Golf Club

Great layout. Water hazards are there but just enough. Very few sand traps. Fairways and greens are country club level. The course is part of a neighborhood so houses are a part of the layout. I am an 18 handicap and found 3 backyards during my 18 hole round. Darn slice! This is a hidden gem in my opinion. I did use my earned 10.00 promo code on a Hot Deal so that is why the green fee I paid is so low.

Course is in good shape. Greens are good. Would play again.

The course is great shape. I believe if the couse gets some needed rain, like most courses in the area,, it would be even better shape.

We had a 2:30 tee time, the guy in the pro shop tells us to start on the back because the back need to clear at 4:30 fir some type of scramble. We go to # 10 and there are eight people waiting to hit , a twosome, foursome and twosome.

The twosome tees off, and the 4some asks if we are playing in the lotto? we say no and they let us go in front of them.

they are going out on the back to get 4 or 5 holes of practice in before the 4:30 event.

we finish 10 and go to 11, the 2some in front of us is waiting on the teebox, there are 2 guys in the fairway, 4 on the green and 8 people on the 12th tee box.

aa high school team was having a practice round 6 players and 2 coaches. We were backed up waiting the entire back nine.

I called the clubhouse and the guy said he THINKS they are only playing the back nine.

when we finally get to the 1st whole we see 6 golfers on the green, 4 waiting in the fairway and 2 standing on the tee box the other twosome left after they finished # 13.

We went in to complain, the guy said sorry and gave us a 9 hole rain check.. this was a waste of time and money.

I guess I will have to call and ask 20 questions before booking a tee time.

This is a beautiful course. The staff are very friendly. They take very good care of the course. It is a little tight on certain holes because of houses but it’s the perfect mix of challenges for any level of golfers. It was my first time there but I will be buying a membership.

Do not play at this course if you are under the age of 35 they do not want you to play here. Upon arrival at check in we were treated with disrespect for showing up for our tee time then when asked for range balls was also met with disgust. We were not given a cart key then when asked for one we received attitude. Course was not busy at all as only a handful of people playing but we kept being interrupted and harassed by the marshal. He found on the course on 3 separate occasions. We were playing at a good pace under what is expected of a proper pace of play but we were still being harrased. Then when waiting to tee off on hole 9 the marshal came and told us we needed to leave, which we did without an issue. Then in parking lot we were discussing what we were going to do next and Marshall then came back and said he was calling the police on us and then proceeded to film our license plates leaving the course. This was a course I genuinely used to enjoy playing but now it is one I never intend to go back nor will I recommend this course to anyone to play

Tee boxes and greens in bad shape. Back 9 was pretty. Saw a bald eagle and two alligators. Got hit into twice even though we were waiting in the fairway for a group to clear the green ahead.

I thought the course was in really good shape and definitely a great deal for this course. I would definitely play more rounds here. For a course in a residential area I thought it was very aesthetically appealing. Cypress trees all around the course with nice water features and a peaceful setting. For a high handicapper like myself I thought it was very playable and yet challenging. Nice layout. My partner found the fairways a little narrow but if the dispersion with your driver is not too crazy it’s fine. I was doing well with fairways hit. I give it a 4.5 out if 5.

Staff was very unfriendly in pro shop, 1st denied fact fact I had scheduled tee time, on GOLFNOW, 2nd about giving key to cart
