Northwood Hills Golf Course

Course is in great shape. Greens are typical for winter but rolled very smooth. A challenging layout and fun to play.

Found the course to be in good condition for the time of year. I was a little disappointed in the condition of the greens.

I've played Northwood many times over the last 5 years. I will say the new owner and staff have brought this place back to life. Fairways are setup perfect for the dormant grass for winter, being about 1/2 inch longer than summer cut. This will make the course playable for the cold winter months. The greens held shots well and puts rolled true. Overall a great experience and 2 of us played 18 holes in 3 hours. I will be playing there again this winter.

Our foursome had a great time at Northwood... the staff is excellent … will try to book it for a venue next year...

Great course and great layout for the money. It could have been mode a little better but I understand that there had been a lot of rain previous to my round. Overall great experience.

Played today 7/3/19 and I can say that for the price for the round I was surprised that the course was in as good of shape as it is for such a low price. It's not in the kind of shape a private course would be but for $21 you get a fun and challenging (at least for me)(high handicap) 18 holes and better than expected greens really for the price the greens were well kept. Will definitely play here more often.

Nice course layout and nice greens. Please fix the fairways! I think there was 3 different types of grass in the fairway. Need to be cut lower too. Would have rated it higher if fairway was nicer.

Given the lack of rain in the area recently the course was in great shape. Greens looked and putted amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

I booked a round for myself and a friend through Golf Now. Upon arrival we found that the course was closed. There were no signs on the doors. I called the phone number and got a voicemail. I left a message but no-one has returned my call. The fees were billed to my credit card. The course management has not offered to reimburse me and Golf Now has no method of getting a full reimbursement. I am very upset that I have paid for two rounds of golf that I was not able to play and I cannot get my money back.

Layout was great. Back 9 was a lot of fun and played one of my best rounds for being my first time. Greens are in decent conditions considering the time of year. Will be back next time I can!

Course is in great shape. Greens were above expectations for February. The staff and members were extremely friendly. We had one group that slowed down a couple of other groups, but with the weather we had it was a little crowded. Fun lay out with great undulations from tee to greens.
