Northwood Hills Golf Course

Course was a little damp. For the time of the year though course is in great shape. A little bit of a drive for me coming from South Bossier but awesome if you are a local.

We were in Louisiana watching our grandchildren for our son and daughter in law - since the children are of school age , we had some free time ... thanks to golf now I found some awesome rates to play Northwood - I was so impressed with the folks and the course I booked another round for an equally awesome price and brought my wife (who does not golf) along for the ride - she was equally impressed with the friendliness, the course and the price I paid ... very nice course and people !!!

Course was in descent condition. Some greens could use a little attention but overall not bad. The best part was that a played in 3 hours.

Enjoyed the layout. Greens a little weedy but overall as good as other public courses. Well worth the ride.. From what I've heard making great strides to get back to top notch.

Excellent layout. Challenging course.

Northwood Hills, in my opinion, was in the past one of the best courses in the Shreveport/Bossier area! Regrettably the course, after exchanging several owners, had fallen into dreadful condition! The new owner has made it his priority to bring the course back to it's original status. Sand traps have been recondition. Greens are in the best playing condition in years! I am now a member of Northwood, after previous membership with the City of Shreveport (Querbes/Huntington) and later Shreveport Country Club. The best golf decision I ever made.
