Beautiful Course with Fun Holes! ⛳️
What a beautiful course!! Combines nature, wildlife, and the game of golf into an incredible experience.
The course contains some really fun holes that make you focus on your game and club selection! This course is great for those that love the driving aspect of golf. I even had to use my 3 and 4 iron a couple of times, after decent driving.
The staff is competent and nice. I only bought a Gatorade, so can’t give an accurate opinion on the quality and taste of the food.
*Played the best hole of my life on Hole 3(Par 5). Chipped for an Eagle but it rimmed out……settled for Par😂
What is once was...
This course just by its name itself of being a country club once was probably a very pristine exclusive golf facility. Before it went municipal it probably was the best golf course in the area bar none. I just moved into the area and can tell them the course was very well kept at first but since it went to being a municipal in his really taken a nose dive. It's sad because it could truly been legitimate once was and now it's just a golf course with no prestige no fanfare just a golf course. No Marshall, the round took 5 hours to play, that sucks!
Home of the 6.5 hour round
Been coming to play wedgewood for years because it is the closest golf course to where I live. This course welcomes all kinds of hacks on a weekly basis and on the weekends they pack them in there like sardines. They have the tee times 10 minutes apart when the normal time it takes to play a hole is 12-15 mins. I love John and the work they do to keep this place up but come on guys that extra one or two tee times that you will lose on the weekends will not break the bank make it easier to play a round in 4 hours or less
Nice layout and greens.
The course is challenging and has a good variety of holes. The greens were in good shape. The storms look like they may have messed up the bunkers and fairways a little bit. You’ll need to lift and place to get a decent lie. A little maintenance needs done in the rough and near the hazards. Decent range and nice to hit off grass. Clubhouse is getting dated. We got stuck behind a threesome that took 4.5 hours to play with no marshall.
Fun course. Fun play.
Played after a storm the night before. Cart paths only. Needed more time to drain/ dry. Had a great time nice course well layed out. Looking forward to coming back when it's dryer. as a bogey golfer, I shot bogey golf..1st time to play. Highly recommend.
Wedgewood
Course was in winter shape, greens always roll pretty good. Just still really wet in a lot of places. Payed too much for those conditions.
Winter conditions
The course was fine for January 1 time frame.
Greens were good
Great Place
Highly recommend. Great condition and a fun round. We will be back
Great Round
Really friendly staff. Cold day, but beautiful and glad they kept it open where other Memphis courses where closed
Great course!
Greens and Fairways in great shape. Rough around the edges of cart paths, cart paths bumpy with roots under them. Raised fairway on left side of number two is a negative, but all the others are fine. Nice wide Fairways until you get to second half of back nine. It's got some up and down vertical on three or four holes and I like that. #9 and 18 are very challenging. I love the course though and intend playing it often.
