Wedgewood Golf Course

I think you’ll have fun playing here. The holes aren’t on top of each other, and you play a variety of clubs on the holes. You maneuver around some lakes and creeks and there are some elevation changes.

Two holes play as Par 3 as there is major construction work on the creek. And we played in the off-season, so lies were brown and tight. Greens were great, though - firm and fast!

March has been one of the wettest on record for TN however the course was still in good shape and the greens were awesome. I would normally give this course 4.5 stars but here's the problem..... They're doing construction on 2 of the holes and there is ZERO mention of the construction anywhere in the proshop or on the score card. Instead of a long par 4 on the front and a par 5 on the back you're left with TWO 125 yd par 3's. I understand that construction needs to be done, but I feel it would be in the best interest of the club to post details of the construction prior to you teeing off. In addition, there were ZERO yardage indicators at the temporary holes so if you did not have a GPS in your cart you're left guessing.

Overall the course the is great and it would be nice to play in the late spring or summer when everything has grown back however now I would be prepared for the extra par 3's.

Course was wet And the Corps of Engineers had a project going on that has the course torn up! One par five and 1 par four were played as par threes because of the construction!The greens were nice though!

Te course was great and golf was excellent. Price was right and the weather cooperated. Group had a great time.

We were passing through the Memphis area and found this gem of a course. The course was well maintained and beautiful. The layout provides plenty of challenge for a competitive golfer but is forgiving enough for a weekend duffer. I played with my mom (76) and Dad (83).... everyone have a very enjoyable and relaxing round. Food in the clubhouse was tasty, and all the facilities were clean and well maintained.

Best greens in three states. They are so uniformly green, they look artificial.

I don't know what some recent reviews are talking about re: course conditions; I don't think you are going to find better public course conditions at the end of a southern summer and less than two weeks out from a hurricane. Good layout and challenging but still fun.

We have played this course every year. This last time, the course was in terrible shape. The management does not want to pay overtime, so none of the traps were raked on a Saturday/ Holiday Weekend. Bushes overgrown, walk paths trashed. Ponds not kept up, dirty water and weeds. Just like North Creek in Horn Lake. Will not be going back soon.

I play this course regularly and our WTN ProAm Series plays at least 20 other courses every year. I enjoy the challenge at Wedgewood and go back often. It is well groomed and well managed. Greens are quick and true. Fairways can be a challenge with water and other hazards. Snack bar has great burgers and chicken salad sandwiches.

It's a tough course but really well kept together and taken care of. It was well worth it and I'm not that good of a player but it was fun

Very nice course, that is in excellent condition and couldn't beat the price on golf now!

I've played Wedgewood many times since it opened. This was as good of shape as the course as been in since I have been playing it. Fairways were perfect. Greens were true and held shots. Rough was penal but manageable. I really enjoyed my round.

This was a wonderful course. My friend from Florida researched the course prior to booking and was surprised that the previous reviews were spot on. This is a very nice course and I really enjoyed playing and will definitely return.

Always enjoyable to play. Greens spoil you when you play elsewhere. Running fast and smooth. Varied hole layout makes for an interesting round and requires a variety of tee shots. Very scoreable if you're having a good day off the tee.
